Is Virginia particularly hesitant about releasing bodycam footage to strangers from the public?

NOTE: different states have different policies regarding public records

I know for a fact that New Mexico freely gives them out, no questions asked. New Jersey also does the same. As well as Florida. Those three states seem to have the most bodycam videos on YouTube.

I've literally never seen any from New York (aside from one in upstate NY; definitely none in NYC). I can't recall any from Virginia off the top of my head, but I haven't specifically tried to locate any Virginia bodycam vids. I definitely have looked for NYC bodycam vids, however, and never found any. I don't think I've seen any from Long Island either.

Off the top of my head, I've seen quite a few in Washington state, though not as many as New Mexico, New Jersey, and Florida. I also recall a couple vids from Georgia, Texas, Ohio, Wisconsin.

edit: I should mention that if Isabella Loretta Janke ever gets arrested for those arrest warrants in New Mexico for not paying off those speeding tickets, we should easily be able to obtain bodycam footage because of how willing New Mexico is to release them.

A massive :optimistic: but we could still get bodycam footage of cops raiding the half-hovel with trottercuffed Pigger sperging out with his faucet flopping in the wind. Extremely unlikely to happen but it would be another strong contender.

Yes. Virginia has a double whammy. Its State Government is run by old Money people who may or may not own land in the State issued with a royal deed in the name of the King, and hold those same Colonial English sensibilities. The idea that the peasants need to know what the cops are doing is alien. Then add to this the fact that Virginia is host to a metric ass ton of federal glow niggers and THEIR children and its a perfect storm. Virginia doesn't release shit. Even when the person asking for the shit is a resident of the state and goes through the onerous hoops required of its bullshit FOIA law that only exists so everyone can make believe the State government doesn't run on the principle of "Trust me Bro".

I suppose EWU had a very good lawyer, alot of money, and at the end of the day Henrico County didn't really care about the contents of the video.
