Honest question, how many of these comments are actually bots? All the videos covering them say they're bots, and I can't blame them, but all the stuff I've read up on this points to these comments consisting of actual people. Am I wrong in that assumption?

A good chunk of it actually is bots, imo. But other parts of it are probably manual spam.

You can send POST requests with YouTube endpoints very easily just by getting your SAPISIDHASH token and creating encoded reply parameters and a serialized delegation context (for brand accounts). This doesn't even require the YouTube Data API or web automation through something like Selenium.

That being said, the UTTP seemed (and seem) quite stupid so I don't know how they managed to create something like that.

its also worth noting that they are using the x202C unicode character to write their spam comments in reverse and it would appear normal, and probably other tricks to fool youtube's very weak anti spam filter.

The accounts are made manually, but the comments themselves are mostly automated. Sometimes UTTP members will spam manually, but judging by video upload times and how quickly they arrive, it's safe to say the comments themselves are programed.

Where are each of them now? How did they get into foodist stuff? What were they like and who did they like trolling? Did either of them associate with any e-celebs? What notable trolling operations did they work with? Did they associate with any other trolling groups?
