Has this been discussed in the thread? Apologies if it has been and I missed it. Sierra was cited for an ethical violation by the national licensing board for speech-language pathologists, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), for misrepresenting herself as a pathologist and implying she was a medical doctor, rather than an SLP, which is a master's-level degree. This happened in May of this year. When I first watched some of Sierra's content I noticed she often misrepresented herself this way, seemingly to bolster her own credentials when discussing trans surgeries and hypothesizing about potential psychiatric diagnoses. It really bothered me when I found out she was, in fact, not an MD and not a pathologist. I got this screenshot from Karen Davis's Twitter, but I believe the first person to point this out (to my recollection) was ASTF; I remember Brit talking about it on her livestreams after she and Sierra had their falling out. May 2024 is about when all of that went down - is it possible Brittany reported her to the board as payback for calling CPS on her? Regardless of who did it, Sierra deserved to be cited and I'm glad ASHA was made aware.

I don't know what counts as ironic anymore but ASHA has used they/them pronouns for Sierra. You couldn't make it up. If I were Sierra, I'd complain to ASHA that its pronoun policy (I assume ASHA uses 'they' for every individual) is misgendering her.

I know people call themselves "mom" and "dad" to their pets sometimes and refer to them as their children or babies, but I've never seen anyone call them their son or daughter (in a serious manner), and definitely haven't seen it in something like an obituary.
