I fucking told you.
I kneel.

SO!

I immediately checked out the website, because I figured, why not? I'm bored and need a laugh.

These guys (if it wasn't obvious already) are vehemently Anti-Democrat. And very very Anti-Israel. They're even Anti-NATO.

Here's a little blurb I found interesting, regarding ABC-7 doing a report on them.

“ABC news in Chicago reported tonight, August 7th, that Behind Enemy Lines had been included in a DNC “threat assessment”. While we resent being called leftists, we’re grateful to ABC for putting together a pretty good hype video, but need to clear up the sloppy reporting and breathlessly repeated lies from law enforcement:…”
This isn't a cannibalism situation, this is a pre-existing organization that's lambasted both Obamna and the Bush administration. An entirely different faction altogether.

Here's their Mission Statement: Warning, it's very fucking wordy. Just saving you a click to their website really.
Since the events of 9/11/2001, the efforts of the US empire to remake the world have meted out death and destruction across countries and continents; they have also abjectly failed in their goals. After waging the longest war in US history, the US government has negotiated a truce with the Taliban in Afghanistan. In 2003, George W Bush declared that the Iraq war was a “Mission Accomplished,” yet the US is still dropping bombs on Iraq, having murdered—directly and indirectly—hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and creating the conditions for the rise of ISIS. Since the US-led NATO destruction of Libya, that country has not had a stable government, but it is home to open-air slave markets.

Despite the humanitarian nightmares and strategic failures, the US is determined to remain the single most powerful empire in an increasingly multipolar world. From airplanes and drones, the US rains down death and destruction, conducting political assassinations without a hint of respect for due process or international law and bombing civilian infrastructure and weddings alike. This includes the heinous practice of double-tap drone strikes that first appeared under Barack Obama. The US supplied much of the weaponry that its close ally, Saudi Arabia, used to bomb school children in Yemen and destroy Yemen’s infrastructure, leading to a vast cholera outbreak. The starvation and health crisis that Yemenis now live with is a direct consequence of US foreign policy.

US drones and planes are launched from aircraft carriers and a network of more than 500 overseas military bases in every corner of the globe. In many countries, these bases are against the will of the local people and prop up repressive governments. In many cases, they bring an increase in sexual violence. The US military and CIA increasingly conduct their operations in secret “dirty wars,” carrying out raids and assassinations outside of the purview of journalists or lawmakers and with zero accountability.

The US war machine is fed by an outrageous military budget, estimated at $732 billion in 2020, an abhorrent allocation of potential and resources towards death and domination. Through training, joint exercises, and arms sales, the US influences and bolsters brutal and repressive governments of every stripe. US arms can be found enforcing criminal occupations in Jammu and Kashmir as well as being used to murder environmentalists in Colombia and urban poor residents in the Philippines. Perhaps most odious is the historic and ongoing US political, economic, and military support for the state of Israel (including a $3.3 billion US military aid package in 2020) and its ongoing settler-colonization, occupation, and dispossession of the Palestinian people. Back in the United States, the same guns and military equipment used to murder people overseas are sent to the police, who use them to gun down Black people, brutalize Indigenous Water Protectors at Standing Rock, and repress protest.

Through coups, sanctions, and puppet regimes, the US empire has attempted to strangle every opponent and potential opponent. After decades of murder and torture through proxy wars, coups, and military dictatorships in Central and South America, the US has turned towards overthrowing governments it doesn’t like in the region through judicial and electoral coups, with military coups always on the table. The latter option was used in Honduras in 2009, when the elected president was overthrown in a US-backed military coup and replaced with a man widely suspected of being a drug trafficker. In 2019 in Bolivia, the Organization of American States provided the justification for the coup that ousted the government of Evo Morales and installed a far-right evangelical government that almost immediately massacred Indigenous protesters. More than a third of the people in the world find themselves under some form of US sanctions, a form of economic warfare and collective punishment that keeps people from accessing essential food and medicine. The wars, bombings, interventions, coups, and economic and ecological devastation carried out or caused by US empire have forced millions to flea their homelands in search of safety and stability.

In history and practice, the US empire echoes the old colonialism, with its relentless focus on securing access to natural resources and trampling on the sovereignty, national independence, and liberation of the subjugated countries. In fact, the US maintains an entirely colonial relationship with a network of overseas territories, most appallingly in the domination of Puerto Rico, an archipelago where the US has tested chemical weapons, conducted forced sterilization, and brutally repressed the resistance movements and their just demands for independence and liberation.

A very modern version of that same colonial logic animates even the most liberal of US foreign policy thinking today. Unable to counter rising imperialist powers such as China and Russia economically, the US has attempted to block their growth militarily. To counter Russia, the US expanded the NATO alliance under Bush and Obama and, in the 2010s, armed proxies—including fascists and religious fundamentalists—in Ukraine and Syria. In Syria, the US has also engaged in a murderous aerial bombing campaign. US attempts to oppose rising Chinese imperialism have included the so-called pivot to Asia of the Obama years, with the ludicrous claim that the US has the right to send aircraft carriers to the South China Sea, and the creation of AFRICOM in 2007, which has resulted in the drone murders of shepherds in Somalia and other atrocities. These deployments, proxy wars, and bombings raise the specter of even more destructive inter-imperialist military conflict in the future, including the potential of nuclear annihilation.

Without the large-scale invasion and occupation that characterized the Iraq war (and the photographs of coffins on the front page of the newspaper), the discussion of war and empire has been relegated to back pages, where it exists at all. Because the hegemony of American imperialism is by and large agreed on by both political parties, it isn’t part of the mainstream political discourse. Dominating other countries is so deeply built into the DNA of the US that for most Americans, passively acquiescing to the empire and receiving its benefits goes without any recognition.

Arundhati Roy says that “The great danger is that, time and time again, the storm of rage that builds up gets defused and co-opted into yet another election campaign” and that instead, “We all need to become seriously mutinous.” It’s precisely in the spirit of becoming mutinous to the empire that we call this project Behind Enemy Lines. The first step in building anti-imperialist resistance is to declare that our allegiance is not to this empire but with the people of the world. People who live in the United States must betray the imperial consensus and refuse to accept the legitimacy, normalcy, and permanence of the empire.

Rather than engage in routinized protests that threaten no one or begging the rulers for concessions, we envision a militant anti-imperialist movement that throws wrenches in the gears of the war machine, develops anti-imperialist consciousness far and wide, deprives the empire of loyal soldiers, and aims to stop new imperialist wars through mass resistance. We will give a platform to people who now have anti-imperialist consciousness: anti-war activists, courageous religious people of conscience, Rastas, punk rock kids, Palestinian activists, diaspora rebels, and people fighting for national liberation for their homelands and/or people. Crucially, we will reach out broadly and strategically to sections of people that, with consciousness and organization, could become a powerful anti-imperialist force within the US: Immigrants and refugees who have firsthand experience with the horrors of the empire. Black, Latino, Indigenous, poor, and working-class high school students who can refuse to become cannon fodder or joystick jockeys for the war machine and can be mobilized to expel military recruiters from their schools. Among active-duty soldiers and their families, we need to find the conscious and critical thinkers and raise doubts to resistance.

Through popular education (not just memes or slogans), we will break through the complicity, government lies, and media silence and expose the crimes of the war machine, celebrating resistance and building public opinion against ongoing and future wars. We will oppose the demonization of whole countries, peoples, and cultures; instead we will promote a culture of resistance. We will deprive the empire of willing soldiers by driving the military and CIA recruiters and military contractors off campuses and out of neighborhoods. We will disrupt and embarrass the war makers, profiteers, and their scribes when they appear in public. We will defend and promote courageous resisters like Chelsea Manning and the Kings Bay Plowshares activists. We will support those military veterans who speak out against US empire and reach out to veterans more broadly to engage in dialogue and struggle about the morality of the US military. All of this will lay the groundwork for mass militant opposition to future wars and interventions.

By choosing to side with the people of the world, we situate ourselves within a historic continuity: with the people who burnt their draft cards to resist the Vietnam war, with the dockworkers who refused to load ships bound for Apartheid South Africa, and with the religious people who illegally gave sanctuary to Central American refugees in the 1980s. By choosing the side of the people of the world, we align ourselves with millions of people, from Gaza to Caracas, from Haiti to the Philippines, against the US empire and its local lackeys. The empire is the enemy. From the belly of the beast, we choose to resist it.

We're in for a fun four days, people.

The Bodies Outside of Unjust Laws website.

Got bored again, wanted to see what these people were about.

Here are their demands, once again, pretty wordy.

We Demand:

Accessible, affordable abortion care with no gestational bans or viability limits

Increased access to gender affirming care and protection of the rights of LGBTQ+ people

Address racial and ethnic disparities in maternal and child health outcomes

Repeal the Hyde Amendment to ensure abortion coverage through public health insurance

Universal healthcare, including prenatal, maternal, and infant care, and free contraceptive care

Hold anti-abortion “crisis pregnancy centers” (fake clinics) accountable for misinformation, denial of care to pregnant people seeking abortions, and pressure to not seek the care they need

Labor protections for all workers including paid family and sick leave and livable wage for all

End the family policing system, redirect resources toward supporting parents and families instead of surveilling and separating them

Resources for young people and families including universal child care, increased funding for public education, and cancel student loan debt

A permanent ceasefire in Gaza, suspension of US military aid to Israel, and increased humanitarian aid to Gaza

Protect civilians, deliver humanitarian assistance, and promote a ceasefire in Sudan

We demand investment in communities by funding jobs, education and housing and divesting from prisons, policing, and genocidal wars

The golem is biting its master, pretty hard it looks like.

Who We Are

Bodies Outside of Unjust Laws: Coalition for Reproductive Justice & LGBTQ+ Liberation is a national coalition formed to demand a federal response to the wave of attacks on our bodily autonomy. We demand national legislation to expand access to abortion, support families, and defend the rights of trans and queer people.

Gross.

Even the far left don't give a fuck about Ukraine.
Someone on the Farms mentioned the Ukraine isn't brown and or muslim enough to be cared about by the far left, they're probably right. Ukraine was probably just flavor of the month horror until a more glamorous and 'correct' tragedy was there to be protested.

I think the words are 'hypocritical' and 'performative.' But it could just be a case of people not having the attention span to focus on two wars at a time. That, or they're not worried about things because Russia keeps fumbling the ball so much. Who knows? I don't!

I like how every day we get another 50 pages, even if nothing happens
actually making it to the stage and completely hijacking the DNC.
that obviously wouldn't be televised though, if you remember the oscars where moonlight won, the person in charge of what goes out to the plebs has been trained for the last half century to always cut away from those weirdos, unless it's a planned event or might seem like one. its why you couldn't see the hundreds of people flooding the stage during the la la land people talking about the award.

Even if a group does hijack the stage its not going to be shown, and most likely anyone who will have a cell phone and be in the crowd will have people watching them ready to snatch it and break it if they record and post something they don't want people seeing.
He said he got addicted to porn when he was young
what do you think "porn" mean back when he was interviewed dude? Also what possible porn was there back in the 50s?

I -

this can't be real, can it? Last I checked abortion is a state issue with most states either having full acceptance, or a limited Democrat demographic
Abortion is essential for women to keep dodging responsibility and punishing guys that don't behave. The DNC needs to keep that vote on lock.
Oh we're in for a fucking ride, aren't we?
Break out the good shit.
This will be fucking funny to see. Does the DNC keep the retards imprisoned or can the rootless NGOs bust them out?

There's been some pretty weird stuff around for a very long time, so I don't know. I'm not into serial killers, maybe you could ask in one of the true crime threads.

those are stick up kids 100%
I go to Chicago every now and again. If I were walking down the street Those kids would be on my radar as a threat.

Today though, they're alright!

It is kinda weird/cool to see places I've walked, the street by the hotel I stay in, etc filled with protesters. I eagerly watched the riot streams in years past and had never been to a place shit actually went down.

Speaking of which, are the Timcast streams just reports of someone else's feeds or some staffer he hired, or is Beanie Boy leaving his bunker and getting back to his roots? (I sadly probably know the answer but if he was I'd tune in to see if he got another IPhone stolen)

March on the DNC 2024, an event scheduled by a big coalition group is set to take place on August 19, 2024 around 12 PM Central Daylight Time.
Here are the demands of this coalition:
The March on the DNC will be a march for Palestine.
Our main demand will be:
  • Stand with Palestine! End U.S. Aid to Israel

Apartheid Israel has murdered over 30,000 people between October 7th and December 31st, 2023. Most victims have been children, women and the elderly. Over 50,000 have been injured.

Yet the US continues to back the massacres. Almost 40 years ago Joe Biden said the US backs Israel with billions of dollars for weapons annually “out of naked self-interest.” He also said, “The US would have to invent an Israel if it didn’t exist.”

Israel is the USA’s landed aircraft carrier in the Middle East to control the region - with its huge oil reserves - for the profits of US corporations. Those corporations and banks are at the core of an empire that inflicts mass violence to extract profit all around the globe at the expense of people and the planet.
We must stop our government from arming and supporting this genocide!

We will also be bringing together the demands of the people’s movements to the door of the Democratic party:
  • Money for Jobs, School, Healthcare, Housing, and Environment, Not for War!
  • Immigrant Rights and Legalization for All!
  • Defend LGBTQIA+ & Reproductive Rights!
  • Defend the right to unionize and strike!
  • Stop police crimes! Community control of the police now!
  • Justice, Peace, and Equality!

Money for Jobs, Schools, Healthcare, Housing, and the Environment, Not for War!

The US is the wealthiest country in world history. The US was founded on the genocide and colonization of Indigenous people and the enslavement of millions of Africans, and it continues to wage wars of exploitation to this day. In spite of its riches, the US government refuses to provide basic resources to its own residents. In the words of Tupac Shakur, “They got money for war but can't feed the poor.”

The military budget this year is $842 billion. The Energy Department spends an additional $30 billion annually on nuclear warheads. The spy, assassination, and other agencies get another $30 billion. Biden got another $133 billion for the war in Ukraine, and now wants $46 billion more for Ukraine and $4 billion more for Israel’s genocide in Palestine.

Meanwhile, almost half of the families in the US live paycheck to paycheck and 19% of Americans have $0 set aside for an emergency. The poorest school districts need more than twice as much as current spending per student to provide an adequate education. Chronic underfunding of our public health system was a major reason why the US had the highest number of Covid deaths in the world: 1,156,484 people. Homelessness in America is surging to record highs amid high rents across the country: almost 600,000 people, many of whom are children, are unhoused.

Even corporate consulting firms estimate that the world would need to spend as much as $9 trillion annually to prevent the growing environmental catastrophe. The Democrats spending billions on war in the middle of an economic and ecological crisis shows their willingness to sacrifice the survival of our people and planet for the sake of profit.

We demand that our tax dollars be used to fund education, housing, healthcare, the environment, and other needs of the people, not genocide and war!

Immigrant Rights and Legalization for All!

US intervention, under both Democrats and Republicans, in countries across the globe has devastated economies and forced people to migrate abroad in search of better lives. Biden ran for president promising the Latino and immigrant movements that he would reverse the attacks that came down on their communities under Trump and enact immigration reforms that these movements have demanded since the 1980s.

Instead he’s working with Senate Republicans on extreme anti-immigrant proposals: building Trump’s wall; and increasing deportations to 225,483 for the first half of the fiscal year. Biden justifies selling out immigrant communities to get support for the war in Ukraine and for the genocide in Gaza. Going further, he now is threatening Trump-era border restrictions: gutting the asylum system; increasing detention of people awaiting processing at the border; and enacting summary border expulsion policies more extreme than Trump’s Title 42.

We demand that Biden follow through on his promises toward immigrants rights, and we demand legalization for all 12 million undocumented people living in the US!

Defend LGBTQIA+ & Reproductive Rights!

The Democratic Party is complicit in the surging right-wing attacks on women, workers, and the LGBTQ+ community. In spite of their lip service to the women’s and LGBTQ+ movements, the Democratic Party has not backed their words with actions.

As Democrats use reproductive and LGBTQIA+ issues to pinkwash the U.S.-funded Israeli genocide in Gaza, their economic policies put women, LGBTQIA+, and disabled folks in the U.S. at a disproportionate risk of harm and exploitation.

Since Roe v. Wade was overturned by the ultra-conservative Supreme Court in June 2022, Democrats have failed to fulfill campaign promises of codifying the right to abortion. As a result, Republican-controlled state governments have carried out a coordinated campaign to eliminate women’s and LGBTQIA+ rights and criminalize reproductive healthcare across the country.

We demand that the Democratic Party act to defend women’s, reproductive, and LGBTQIA+ rights!

Defend the right to unionize and strike!

Joe Biden also failed to deliver on campaign promises to pass the Pro-Act which would strengthen workers’ rights to unionize. Instead, he sided with big business by signing legislation that stripped rail workers of their right to strike. The environmental and public health disasters which resulted from train derailments in the following months likely could have been prevented had Joe Biden defended workers’ right to organize and strike for safety improvements.

Biden has claimed to lead a pro labor administration, yet his anti union and anti strike policies disempower workers from taking collective action to improve our lives. We demand that the Democratic Party defend the right of workers to unionize and strike!

Stop police crimes! Community control of the police now!

A common thread throughout our movements is the political repression they face at the hands of the powers that be. As people’s movements gain steam under worsening conditions, the system tries harder to stifle our resistance. Though Republicans tend to be more viciously repressive against those who dare to fight back, the Democratic Party frequently unites with and enables these attacks.

From the repression of the Tampa 5, to the Uhuru Three, to the Students for Justice in Palestine, to the fight to free political prisoners, we see the need for tools which empower us to hold back the forces of repression so that our movements can continue to grow in power.

The struggle against racist policing and mass incarceration is central to our movements, which leads us to demand community control of the police and an end to police crimes. The Democratic Party failed to take any meaningful action following the George Floyd Rebellion, with nearly 100 murders at hands of the police per month occurring in 2022, and the total for 2023 nearing 1,000. Black and brown people, disabled people, and other oppressed communities make up a disproportionate number of those murdered, as well as those kidnapped, assaulted, and wrongfully convicted.

Fighting back against the U.S. criminal legal system designed to enforce the oppression of Black and brown people and the political repression of the people as a whole is central to the survival of our movements. In order to defend our movements, we carry the demand for community control of the police as we march on the DNC!

Justice, Peace, and Equality!

Together we fight for justice, peace, and equality, but we know that in order to achieve both peace and equality, we must first have justice. We refuse to be pacified by Democratic Party leaders making empty references to justice while ignoring or opposing the demands of the people’s movements. We will not maintain a false peace domestically while our tax dollars are funding genocide and war abroad. We will continue to fight until we achieve true equality.

Points Of Unity

In addition to our demands, the Coalition to March on the DNC is united around the following points:
  1. We condemn the Democratic Party for promoting wars in Palestine, Ukraine, and countries all over the world, and for strangling dozens of countries with illegal sanctions that affect over 2 billion people. US economic and military interests are behind the genocide in Gaza, and are threatening war on China. The US military puts the entire world in danger of war and targets people’s movements like in the Philippines and Colombia.
  2. We recognize the DNC serves billionaires and corporations at the expense of the people. The Democratic Party prioritizes profit and plunder over people and planet through its business centered economic policies - plunging the economy into further crisis and giving corporations free reign to exploit their workers, displace people, and destroy the environment.
  3. We demand that elected officials from the Democratic Party follow through on progressive campaign promises, such as the George Floyd bill, defending reproductive rights, and protecting immigrants from deportation.
  4. We demand an end to racist and political repression, mass incarceration, and racist policing. Democratic party officials must stop prosecuting campaigns of repression, and they must fight against the repression committed by Republicans. They must also support the right of communities to control the police, thereby empowering themselves to eliminate systems of repression.
  5. We expose the Democratic Party for neglecting the rights and opposing the liberation of workers, low-income immigrants, Black, Chicano, Indigenous, and Latino communities, women, and LGBTQ+ people. We will bring the demands of these diverse movements to the doorstep of the Democratic Party. We will continue to fight until we are all free.
  6. We support the right of nations and peoples to self-determination and sovereignty. No country has a right to intervene in or control politically, economically or militarily the nations and peoples of the world.
