Not necessarily. If the GOP impeached Joe Biden, that would - at the very least - require the Harris campaign to expend money and energy to address it. Defending Biden means defending his record (which they want to run away from), or throwing him under the bus (internal party chaos).

It wouldn't harm her unless she has to get on the stand and testify for some reason. On the other hand it makes Republicans look weak and desperate to throw the election. If they had pulled it off by the beginning of the year, that would have given the Dems months to stew in chaos and tack some failures onto Kamala's record; but it's too late for that. At best it's a wash for them if they tried now.

What would be interesting is if the lame duck GOP tried it after the election. They'd have to move fast and be sure about everything, and probably need more power in the houses of Congress than they have right now.

My wildcard prediction is that if it looks like Kamala loses the election, then Joe is out before January, just to tack the FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT title on her. The left hasn't had a "historic first" milestone to celebrate in a while. If they still want to avoid Amendment 25 removal stigma, then a hasty impeachment might be an alternate route.

Okay I did make this over the weekend. Had to guess at some of the measurments. Trashed the garlic powder for crushed and traded green onions for reds. Tossed some MSG in for fun as well. Personal taste. I also removed half of the cheddar (2 cups) and replaced it with a "italian blend" from off the shelf. Nothing fancy.

This dish is very middle of the road, but that is fine. In fact it is expected. The whole thing was good and I would recommend it. This is fat people food and it is yummy and comfy and makes you fat. Don't overthink it.

Tim Walz is at the very least telling the truth about his weight and you can trust his food recommendations. I unironically would love some of Kamala's family recipes but she denies the Indian heritage and was disowned by the Jamaican side of the family. That's some good food, too.
