This is actually a great time for content. Who cares if Ant-Man 3 sucked? I saw the trailer, said it looked like Spy Kids 3D as many others said, and never once saw it. I never watched freaking Halley Barry Catwoman either. I won't see that Crow reboot. There's a simple solution to bad content: Don't watch it. Don't pay for it. I don't need Heels vs Babyface to tell me if something is good or bad. He says the sky is blue, I'm checking outside for myself. I distrust his opinion on matters that much.
Its their fault if they actually buy tickets and hate watch children's IP like Snow White for content on their channels. Remember Barney the Dinosaur, Teletubbies? No adult liked those IPs, but still successful because children liked them. Children decide what they like, not dumb Youtubers wishing Ronald Reagan was still president or whatever. No one is seriously going to seek out a 40 year old 'culture warrior' to see if their kids might like some like action remake of some Disney movie. It's laughable on the face of it.
The Fandom Grift for the most part are dishonest fools and if they think they are fighting a culture war, "muh brand" Geeks and Grifters, Heels vs Babyface "Pronouns!" as he keeps playing Starfield, Gary a slick guy who understands the Youtube game, sure, but the culture war is lost and these idiots are not the ones to re-fight the war.
Any improvement on content put out by the studios they bash is because of creative improvements in the pursuit of money. That's it (see for exmaple hand waving Kang/punting Jonathan Majors in favor of going back to the Robert Downey JR/bringing back Russo brothers to do Avenger movies).

People aren't mad at Mark Hamill for being a "liberal." They're mad that he's one of the most insufferable people on social media (and also in person at conventions too, it seems). Lot's of celebrities are "liberals" (which means authoritarian in 2024, apparently) but it's when they are awful people to their fans that people get annoyed. (Hamill isn't just insufferable because he's a "liberal," he's also an out of touch, elderly boomer.) Of course, Zack has also turned into an insufferable person on social media so I get why he'd be sympathetic to Mark Hamill.
I'd argue that ComicsGate itself exists for two reasons:
1. The shockingly low quality of mainstream American comics. Ok, for customers this is the main reason, they wanted good comics and hoped this movement would produce them.
2. Comics Pros being dicks to other people with no consequences from their employers, especially to fans of comic book characters on social media.
So now we have a movement where Zack produces low quality comics and is a dick to people on social media. Congratulations, I guess.

The idea is to inform the normies. WE know those movies suck and will suck but those who are are not us do not so it is good to makes some popular videos that will reach them. What many people do not realise is that normies are not terminally online and need these people. It sucks but it is the best we got.
Parents are supposed to watch what their kids watch to see if it is appropriate. What is the alternative? Let the people that put gay porn and propaganda into school libraries do whatever they want? NO! The parents need to be informed about what is in their kids' entertainment.

40 plus year old men do not have special insight into what children will like out of today's children's IP. If Snow White fails, it will not be because of Gary and his mindless lemmings on Youtube. As for pointing out if something is appropriate for a child, that sort of information had existed long before the advent of anti-SJW content on Youtube. A young child shouldn't be exposed to pornography, themes they are not developmentally ready for, swearing, depictions of racism, murder, rape, illegal behavior, nudity, and so on. But again, these people would be incapable of offering that assessment in a professional manner as their content is not aimed at parents looking to police content for their kids, rather Fandom Menace exists as a safe space for the losers of the culture war.

The problem is that the modern entertainment is perfectly fine with inaproppriate content as long as it is queer and propaganda as long as it is leftist. People should be warned about that and mainstream media will not do it.

- Media keeps doing what it’s doing, and getting more egregious about it, so media nerds keep doing what they’re doing, and gain a bigger audience.
- Some actually make an effort to make their own content, so they get even bigger.
- Dumb (fake confused) faggots keep running into spaces to brag about how much they don’t care that media is poisoned by pedophiles and cultists, and how you should also just consoom and shut up.
It’s really only complicated if you’re a bigger retard than a boomer in front of VS Code.
Now he can have nothing but late or undelivered product in the future. No one will question him in his musty cave of G.I. Joe figures and unpaid child support.

The worst part is he went on the specific arc he's accusing the Birthday Clowns of being on. According to him, Zack started his channel thinking he could critique these people and save the comics industry. About 2-3 years ago, he just gave in, said there's nothing to save, and the industry needs to burn to the ground. After Ed Piskor he got even more dramatic about it, saying there isn't even an industry. "They kill people now! Nothing matters!" He stopped wishing for good content out of DC/Marvel because it doesn't matter any more.
Replace "comics" with "Star Wars" and you get where the FNT and G+G crowd have been, in roughly the same time frame. There is no more Star Wars, it's a dead franchise, so it gets pointed out whenever new slop gets released. Same for Star Trek, Hollywood film franchises, and yes even the Disney world of characters.
Zack isn't just being a hypocrite on tone or technique, he's being a hypocrite on the specific journey multiple people in multiple fandoms took to get to the same place. They're similar right down to their reactions to good consoomer content; Zack will occasionally praise a random modern comic, just like FNT or EFAP will praise the rare good show like Andor. But neither one pretends those rarities have redeemed the dead industry.
