I'm not with Trump on everything he does, but I think the kind of pure MAGA ideal actually gets close to what a comprehensive solution would look like. Revitalize manufacturing, stop foreign countries from undercutting US prices, end bad trade deals, stop wages being undercut from the supply side (illegal immigrants), fix infrastructure, get cheap energy for the domestic market, etc. That gets you most of the way there, except maybe housing costs, but nerfing inflation plus doing mass deportations might be the shock needed to get those trending downward.

What industry would America have to capitalize on like the auto market from the 20th century? If mass migration continues, more cities could go the way of Detroit in a few years time. Hell, Silicon Valley may be on its way out if California's egregious high cost of living and petty crime is anything to go by.
