People don’t realize it now, but Trump doing special press conferences, podcast interviews and even Q&A with people that would never even vote for him is looking more informative and interesting than to watch performative and faux virtue signaling from a party that can’t even control Antifa and BLM/pro-Palestine protestors punching and fighting each other in the streets.Kind of interesting how obsessed Democrats are now with making huge rallies and Trump doing small venues and podcasts.
Honestly something in this man changed the day he had his brush with death and for the better. He seems more willing to put himself in uncomfortable positions and overall less needy for validation. The recent Theo Von and Trump interview doing more than a million plus views than this recent DNC convention proves it, and it’s even more telling that it’s just the second day for them.
I am trying to understand this shift in attitude from Democrats to copy everything that Trump is doing. It's almost like they are trying to outdo Trump and somehow that's a confidence booster. You ask a lot of these democrat attendees and their responses are always universally, "i was anxious about our chances but I feel assured now."People don’t realize it now, but Trump doing special press conferences, podcast interviews and even Q&A with people that would never even vote for him is looking more informative and interesting than to watch performative and faux virtue signaling from a party that can’t even control Antifa and BLM/pro-Palestine protestors punching and fighting each other in the streets.

there's nothing odd about it, a number of the theological points are directly opposed to each other. a simpler way to understand it is to replace orthodox with catholic. now add all the disagreements over stuff like penal substitution.
Yeah, Kamala is unlikeable and her ideas/policy proposals are things that most people disagree with and don't want. It's not really possible for the Dems to hide that until the election itself. There has been a small shift back towards Trump in polls and the betting markets, and it has only happened since Kumala started laying out policy proposals and since the Democratic National Convention started
No wonder they want to run a details-free "vibes" campaign lol
By small you mean lowest of 44% to 52%, the trend is now normalizing....There has been a small shift back towards Trump in polls and the betting markets, and it has only happened since Kumala started laying out policy proposals and since the Democratic National Convention started

that teacher is retarded.Technically Orthodox is Catholic. As the full name is the Orthodox Catholic Church. (Greek Orthodox Catholic Church in this case.) I went to a Christian ecumenical school and for R.E. the denominations were split up and one guy who was Greek Orthodox was put in the Catholic group as the teacher said it was basically the same.
Of course he did. No balls faggot.I love how trump dissavowed Project 2025 immediately as it was announced and yet these dumbasses still link it to him.
Yeah this is the first time I have ever seen a convention lead to bets against the party holding their convention. This is usually a time to fire people up and give hope they are going to win, but people are looking at this trainwreck and thinking the other party has a better chance lol. There has been a small shift back towards Trump in polls and the betting markets, and it has only happened since Kumala started laying out policy proposals and since the Democratic National Convention started

When have you ever seen Biden disavow Antifa or the The Great Replacement?
Trump can just wander into a random venue or recording studio and pull a crowd or streamers, while the Democrats need to schedule in advance this big thing where they bribe and coerce people to attend.Kind of interesting how obsessed Democrats are now with making huge rallies and Trump doing small venues and podcasts.

Now that Harris has locked in the nomination, pollsters don't have to fuck around and give false legitimacy to Harris.
I didn't watch Obama's speech, I listened to a radio broadcast while I was working on something. This is the first time Obama kind of sounded...old? Like a couple of times on the radio broadcast his voice seemed off and cracked a few times. That and the applause and reaction isn't quite what I expected it to be. Now it might have played different on the tv than it did on the radio but that's what I thought about it.Based on the reactions I've seen since Biden's speech last night, it was actually a smart move to remove him from the primetime spot.
Biden was a screaming, angry old man yelling at the clouds last night, who was often incoherent. And on top of that, his speech most definitely tied Kamala to his administration (which the Kamala campaign has treated like the big elephant in the room that they cannot discuss lol).
I haven't watched either speech from the Obamas yet, but based on the reactions I'm seeing on X, it doesn't look that enthusiastic?
I guess it's hard to spark enthusiasm when everyone at the DNC is saying the same damn thing over and over and over, even when you're Obama.
Its hard to spark enthusiasm when you are Obama and your peddling the same shit you were back in 08, except its been 16 years of shit and the only good years were under the other guy. Also doesn't help Obama looks like he's aged 50 years in that time.I haven't watched either speech from the Obamas yet, but based on the reactions I'm seeing on X, it doesn't look that enthusiastic?

Siena said over the weekend they knew they were getting more Biden voters than Trump voters in their polling but they weren't going to try and account for that. The numbers were always going to come back down because so many of the polls oversampled Democrats or other groups that are more likely to vote that way. Political betting markets are mostly people betting what they want to happen and not based on more careful research, which is why they responded to the polls like they did. Even a details-free "vibes" campaign can't last for another 10 weeks though and a lack of policy or details looks bad to anyone who isn't a deluded "blue no matter who" bugman.
She was already locked in weeks ago. They did an official vote ahead of the convention in order to prevent it from turning into an even bigger shitfest where there isn't an official candidate for several more weeks or even a heavily contested convention that ends up splitting the party and leaving some of the base feeling alienated and causing them not to bother even showing up at the polls in November.
Everything they did at the convention was for show. I guess they do vote to confirm Walz for the VP selection, but it's not like they'd choose someone else given how bad it would look, as well as the fact that there aren't many people who'd want to kill their political career by accepting.
