Depends on how the bill is written. It would likely be that you have to pay based on gains at a certain date, most likely the end of the fiscal year. A lot like property tax.

That said, I’m not convinced the bill would stand up in court. Some SC Justices indicated in Moore that they believed the constitution requires our tax code be realization based. Which would render the proposed tax unconstitutional.

Jr. They don’t care about abortion or immigration and I don’t hear them talking about the economy .

Maybe if Trump made it a thing to let RFK jr speak at his campaign tours and promised he would have a big FDA position. Maybe if he promised to take down all 5G towers. But I don’t know, they pretty much hate Trump, they feel betrayed by the Covid vax, masks and lockdowns and blame Trump specifically.

Trump really needs to talk about “climate change” just call it what it is, pollution and promise to clean up our drinking water and food. Maybe drop some hard truths like their endless, greedy consumerism is polluting the planet. Hell, it’s impossible to make everyone happy.

The problem is that he took most of his anger out on Trump. Biden had an opportunity to create a real legacy by throwing the party under the bus, but I guess that Hunter Biden pardon and the money is just too important to pass up. I hope his future Presidential Library gets constantly vandalized.

But he did keep connecting Kameltoe to his administration, and Kameltoe did not look pleased. The only time she smiled during his speech was when he was talking about himself stepping down from the race, and it wasn't even a full smile-- it was an evil smirk lol.
