I also think corporate America is starting to get hinky about Kamala after she started openly endorsing Communist policies like nationalizing food production and wealth confiscation.

I doubt very much moderators from large media companies are going to give Kamala the softball treatment she's become accustomed to and requires in order to perform well.

Remember she's confident the press will cover for her. But she's not confident he'll actually wind up in jail. If he doesn't go to jail then cancelling close to the actual date looks worse. Cancelling now is the safe play, she can let the press cover it up and praise her for nothing.

If Trump is actually going to be facing jail time, (and I honestly have no idea whether he is or not.) I have no doubt in my mind that Kamala has already been made aware of that fact.

I know leaking that information would be illegal as hell, but so is pretty much everything they've done to stick charges on him in the first place.

The judge is already leaking the fact that he is not ruling out extension and uh.... Immunity.

And I've heard multiple people of varying levels of credibility claim that they're setting up rikers to jail him. (Which would absolutely need to be done ahead of time of it was happening.)

It doesn't even matter because Trump's legal team will appeal it and the Supreme Court will go 6-3 in favor of him because the entire NY case around him is fucking goofy.

I don't know how any honest lawyer can look at that case and not go "I see what you did there, but this is still retarded."
