Was at the courthouse they made us put our phones in the locker. Uh, nothing really happened. It was over in 30 minutes. I also got to shook hands with Nick Rikieta there after the hearing. Wanted to be polite and told him that I wish the best luck for him and and his family. Say what you want about the guy but at least he is a polite man in person too. Also took a selfie with him.

Also brought my Mr metokur hat along but couldn't wear it in the hearing.

Outside the courthouse there is this big Native American warrior statue.

Overall it was a nice car ride there. Got to see two lolcows in person

While it was reallly poorly argued we mostly agreed it was likely the April stuff was not admissable at trial (unless she pleads and turns on him and testifies) and they'd probably better get a better copy of the cokestream if they want it in at trial.

i gotcha. probably should've known that without having to asking considering i know a few lawyers. lol

so the best possibility of us ever seeing that footage is if the fleashlight flips on rackets or the state actually goes through with her prosecution and they use it against her. what a mess this dumb cunt has found herself in. lol

A prime of example of "think before you post." The Balldoman is willing to lie and misrepresent anything for the most microscopic dunks on Xitter. He's desperate for any W he can get in the court of public opinion at this point. In this case, he lied by omitting all the "Dumb" reactions and presenting the post as representative of general sentiment among KF® Voluntary Members™, which it obviously isn't, even if the most uncharitable reading was to be taken. A very common tactic among the so-called legacy media journalists he once opposed and raved against.

I feel like a grade school teacher for explaining this but clearly, the level of good judgement on display necessitates it.

Honestly quite a nice photo of a bunch of folks from here who probably are getting to know each other and maybe going out for drinks afterwards. Very wholesome if they are from here.
Seeing Ralph stand behind a bunch of people dressed normally, talking photos of them while the woman waves mockingly to him reminds me of that fat shadow in the Chad/Stacy couple picture.

My understanding is this: once she invokes her Miranda rights, the police can no longer ask her questions without her lawyer present. In this case, she invoked her Miranda rights, so theoretically if the police continued to ask her questions, anything she said would be inadmissible as evidence. However, it's not quite that simple. If, for example, she invoked her Miranda rights and then continued speaking of her own accord with no questions being asked, there is no violation and the statements she made should be admissible. Police will often try to abuse this as well by saying things like, "Okay, I won't ask you any more questions. I just wanted to hear your side of the story." That's not technically a question, although it does encourage a suspect to continue speaking. Based on what I read in Nick's filing from yesterday, it seems that this is exactly what happened to April: she invoked her Miranda rights, the policeman made one of those "technically not a question but fishing for information" statements, and then April continued speaking. So, whether or not April's statements will be admissible in court depends on the exact wording that police officer used when he was speaking with her. Whether what he said was a violation of her Miranda rights could be up for interpretation, and the lawyers will have to argue that back and forth before the judge makes a ruling on it. Since we don't have the body cam footage, we don't know exactly what was said, therefore we don't know if her rights were violated or not.

That's a super dumb argument, because hearsay is completely acceptable in a search warrant affidavit. So if White actually did that, he's super dumb. He seemed to be doing that in the motion, too, but that may just be because of how badly it was drafted.
