Megathread SRS and GRS surgeons and associated horrors - the medical community of experimental surgeons, the secret community of home butchers

@everybody in Portugal

According to her first Tiktok account, Gruffin's phalloplasty was actually in April '21:

Gruffin_phallo_date.jpg

Her severe complications with UTIs that culminated in a sepsis and several DVTs began almost immediately after her initial surgery. Also, AFAIK she was only 17 when she got her mastectomy, because there is a clip where she specifically mentions she had to pay out of pocket for that because insurance wouldn't cover it due to her still being a minor at the time. She was born in 1999, so it must have been in 2017 at the latest.

EDIT: Since there has been some speculation, also on my part, about Gruffin's supposed opioid addiction, I decided to skim the old Gruffin posts in this thread and found this cap of an Instragram post by her on the topic:

Gruffin_junkie.jpg

Here she claims she wasn't just nicking grandma's Oxys but actually buying street heroine. Of course, this disordered little pooner is hardly a reliable narrator in any case, but just thought I'd put it out there. She even claims to have OD'd, although we can hardly judge the veracity of those claims.

Gruffin had puberty blockers young and was taking hormones for a good decade before she got the surgery; she was 14 or 15 when she started T, iirc,

I went through both of the TikTok accounts. There was no mention of puberty blockers thst I saw. She posted her timeline/dates more than once.

Started T in 2014 (age 15)
Zippertits in 2017 (age 17)
Hysterectomy in 2019 (age 20)
Phalloplasty in 2021 (age 21)

She started hormones 6 years 4 months and 23 days before the phallo. Not “a good decade.”

Heccin' valid bonus hole.

You have not lived as a health care professional until you’ve had to swab a stoma for gonorrhea.

Even though it’s usually very obvious, swabs must be taken.

Quick reminder that Landon Hiscock's thread fizzled because he made a wise choice: he stopped posting online in an easily identifiable way almost completely, leaving little milk to skim.

A timeline/greatest hits for some in this thread would be most welcome. Maybe read-only, to keep the main discussion here and keep each individual thread short and to the point.

Dare we even ask how a stoma contracts gonorrhea?

The seconds in which you typed this were seconds during which nothing was done to stop the problem. Keep the feelings in your heart and your boots on the ground.
Of course you're right, but it's also difficult to see the Gruffin story as anything but a waste of a life, and I find that very sad. Maybe emphasizing the human toll of genderism is a way to stop it. I think normies need to hear that the movement isn't all drag queen story hour and "life-saving intervention" - it's suffering and death. People should be questioning how we as a society have gotten to the point that genital mutilation is upheld as good medicine.

I don't know, just thinking aloud here.

Buck Angel is putting up a video on Gruffin tomorrow:
I'm beginning to suspect that the people cashing in on this, whether in support or not, are all obnoxious and looking for attention. I question the motives of some of the individuals on both sides.

This video is particularly insufferable, on so many levels.

- Her stupid, smug face.
- The imbecilic, childish (and extremely feminine, ha!) hand gestures. That alone makes me want to slap her in the face.
- Bragging about the hugely inflated cost of her surgeries mutilations.

You all know my position on this but I'll reiterate: she was a stupid, foolish girl who did bad things and spent her entire stunted adult life encouraging others to follow her down the path to Hell. Gruffin was a victim as much as pedophiles who were themselves molested as children are victims. - Ultimately, we are all responsible for our choices and behaviour.

That’s the thing, isn’t it? It *is* genital mutilation. This shit is illegal in many places when it’s done by lunatic Egyptians or Somalis, but now it’s the new social justice thing, it’s apparently life-saving.

There needs to be some serious introspection about how medicine, media, politics and society could allow this to happen. A stupid online roleplaying fad got way out of hand, and certain surgeons and politicians decided to cash in. It’s snowballed from there. People have lost their entire livelihoods over questioning this insanity. All while the rainbow borg are droning on calling anything but applause ‘hateful’ and ‘genocide’. How are these people in charge, and how can we prevent it ever happening again?

This screenshot right here encapsulates Gruffin's life in a nutshell:

That smug, chinless moonface in the bottom left corner listing, black on white, what she and her vanity surgeries have cost the state and fellow insurance premium subscribers. This is what you'll be remembered for, Makayla. This is your legacy. You know that "joke" Joaquin Phoenix' Joker had written down into his notebook of failed jokes "I hope my death makes more cents than my life"? This is literally it, pholx. A cautionary tale.

Partially ninja'd by @Iron Jaguar LOL

the rainbow borg
I'll be using that. Thanks.

"Comply. Comply. You will be transsimilated."

OT: It always annoyed me that the Borg spoke of themselves as "We", when they were meant to be essentially one interconnected ubermind. - Surely if they had no individuality, they would call themselves "I", because all Borg drones are The Borg i.e. a piece of the singular consciousness, in the way that the individual cells of your body make up a single person.

Royal "we," I'd assumed. But I thought the Borg Queen didn't make sense for the concept either, even if she was really cool-looking.

The Borg were amazing for their time, budget, and being plopped in the middle of Beige Trek while being actually scary. They make a good trans metaphor too, with the caveat that some of them, like Tranch Kevin, are into that.

Maybe someone could add up the cost of affirmation, and divide each surgery's price tag by day she got to enjoy it. Toward the end of her life she was paying--sorry, we were paying a lot for someone to suffer so avoidably.

It doesn't make a good argument in favor of fake dick surgery. Hundreds of thousands of dollars so an "asexual" can stand to pee, but she dies instead. Wish the insurance company would wake up, run the numbers, 86 the phalloplasties and add stand-to-pee devices to their DME list. Think of all the cancer patients that would have treated. Of course, the insurance company would just keep the profit, not defer the funds, but it's still an outrage.

Grifters gotta grift. And this Griff is a gift for the grift.

Like @Thomas Eugene Paris said, this case is really highlighting the true character of a lot of folks involved in those online circles. It should give the reader pause, a big pause. I see Buck Angel referred to as "one of the good ones" more often than not, by terfs and socons alike. She's really not. She is just as deranged as any of the pooners seeking media spotlight, and- since she still "he hims" last I heard- that IS exactly what she is. An elderly pooner, a chastened and wizened by experience pooner, but- a pooner. A "sex worker" one, to boot.

These people can be useful for getting a message out, but I suspect in the end it would have gotten out just as well without them, and that ultimately they are more trouble than they are worth.

Height surgery regret
I'm a young trans guy, been on T for a few years and generally pass as cis, but I still deal with pretty bad dysphoria, especially my height dysphoria since I'm very short for a man. Earlier this year I got leg lengthening surgery and grew about 3 inches. I know this was extreme but I felt so desperate. Now I still hate the way my body looks, because my legs are disproportionate and my arms look short. I can't look at myself without feeling grotesque and ashamed. I haven't told anyone in my personal life what I did, and nobody has mentioned it, but I'm terrified that people will guess that I got surgery. I think if I had lengthened a smaller amount it would look ok but I regret going into the surgery without being prepared. I realize now I was blinded by dysphoria/dysmorphia and had unrealistic expectations. Just wanted to share this somewhere

This. It continually astounds me that people keep falling for such obvious grift. It's exactly the same as the Gays Against Groomers scam, or if someone started an org called Non-Offending Pedophiles Against Chomos.

If she feels that her legs are now disproportionately long compared to the length of her arms, why did she not also lengthen the length of her arms as well to maintain the same proportion? It is also expensive, but she already blown the money on being taller.

I am not that familiar with limb-lengthening surgery, but what are the long-term effects and complication rates?
