If that really works then just brute force it until fatigue sets in. Hundreds of thousands of videos of blacks being beaten to death until no one feels even a twinge of emotion at the videos anymore.

If they somehow manage to riot forever in response it can be used as a sort of bug zapper so it's still not a bad thing.

Quite a few Gen-Xers are evangelicals that support Isreal. I've gotten into fights with family members over the recent 'antisemitic' bills that were up for vote that basically state any criticism towards jews make you a nazi. Relatives think that's perfectly okay to do and don't understand how against the 1st amendment it is. The double think is real when it comes to Isreal.

The left has been going progressively nuts since the 1930s, when Communists began infiltrating the party. In the 50s, they had the chance to purge the commies and didn't because the idiot-Machiavellian types thought there was more immediate political gain from calling Republicans rude and mean spirited than dealing with their Red problem. Ignoring the problem metastasized in 1968, when the Democrats once again had a chance to purge the radicals and rebuild the party. Instead, they chose to embrace the radicals, consigning their party to the wilderness for four fucking decades.

The idiots in charge during that period, such as the Clintons, saw radicals as a fountain of useful energy. Just keep them in control, out of the seats of power, and they can do useful things like start riots and hurt your rivals. This really got going in the 2000s, when the lunatics in Code Pink, Occupy, BAMN, etc were increasingly allowed to run wild in lefty enclaves. The important thing is that the mainstream center-left did nothing about it. They saw the crazies as useful, if a bit overzealous. But hey, better for the universities to be breeding Communists than Republicans, right? It wasn't just conservatives saying university lunatics would calm down once they got into the real world.

The problem is that they didn't calm down, and in the Obama era, they began occupying seats of power. The problem has grown to the point where openly hating America is no longer a career-ender in private sector, let alone in the Democratic Party. So now the party is, as you say, bugfuck nuts.

I feel like that will backfire.

The biggest strength of the liberal left is that criticizing and and all leftist ideals and policies is taboo under the threat of cancelling and harassment.
If they neuter the radical left's ability to criticize and harass and let people say they've gone too far, they open the floodgates for people willing to speak up about all the awful things the liberal left has done and it won't stop at fringe topics.

Good morning, brats!

Thanks to @Breadbassket for again posting tons of videos of the protests, and to everyone else here for summing up another boring ass night of the DNC. I hope something more interesting happens today, but I know what will happen is we'll find something to sperg about. In the absence of meat, we shall make mud pies.

It's 100% the left deciding they don't get to succeed. Just like in 2020, cops can stop riots just fine when the politicos and targets of the riots back them up. The mayor of Chicago didn't restrain the cops--he spoke at the DNC itself--so the cops could do their job. And that's before we get to their fed backup unique to the situation.

Remember, one of the ways they finally did in the klan was by suing cops when they refused to go after them. It's a civil rights violation. Or at least it used to be. Now it's (D)ifferent.
