No shit, machine guns are prohibited by the NFA unless they were manufactured before 1986, you register them, submit fingerprints and a photo, pay a special tax and pass an intrusive government check. Tons of people are in federal prison right now for illegally owning machine guns.Incorrect, you can still own certain automatic firearms, they’re just NFA items and also extremely expensive.
Don't you have a Muslim rape gang to defend, Nigel?A country with America's military record cannot be reasonably called an Empire. Empires are for winners.
Expect a mass shooting to occur before November.

tl;dr: A judge actually applied strict scrutiny to the Second Amendment (which is pretty clear, want a gun, yes you can have it, even if it's big black and scary) and the feds didn't even bother trying to make their case, assuming it was just common judicial knowledge they can ban some types of guns. Can you imagine if this gets to SCOTUS and the liberals + female conservatives on the court can't get one of the male conservatives to flip?
But did they appeal to the Supreme Court after the Bruen decision? I'm not sure you get how case law works. No shit, machine guns are prohibited by the NFA unless you register them and pay a special tax. Tons of people are in federal prison right now for illegally owning machine guns.
Totally waiting for the Harris Campaign to do something impressively stupid, just to tell all of their critics to learn "campaign literacy." lol.A total " this movie isn't made for you" move.
I understand, I was challenging the claim that the purpose of the ruling was to somehow force a higher court to set a precedent when there are already many. My guess is the purpose is for a higher court to strike down the NFA altogether because as you said, the historical tradition exists for the legal ownership of machine guns not outlawing them. That's not tradition. The NFA is FDR era bullshit inspired by gangster movies.
Knowing who is running their campaign, I bet.Totally waiting for the Harris Campaign to do something impressively stupid, just to tell all of their critics to learn "campaign literacy." lol.
Yeah its called defending freedom, preventing nuclear armageddon, and making sure you, a Euro, get FREE (tm) Healthcare because your military consists of tinfoil and paper straws.I have one image as answer of this

This is not an empire riiight
You have the biggest military spending for å reason.
And yet, it’s advertised on every piece of media I consume.A total " this movie isn't made for you" move.
To be fair, what tradition actually means is still a little murky post-Rahimi.That's not tradition. The NFA is FDR era bullshit inspired by gangster movies.
Standard non-empire having response.Don't you have a Muslim rape gang to defend, Nigel?
They don't always need Jews directly. Behind everything you have AIPAC, behind that the payment processors, Peter Theil for example. Social media companies, Zuckerberg. Behind that the Club of Rome, Trilateral Commission, behind that the central banks, the IMF. The Rothschilds.
If every company and organization and bank was controlled by Arabs, people would be alarmed. But because it's Jews, people don't want to be racist.![]()
I feel like it's another "we don't want to call the thing what it is and instead refer to strict technical definitions" situation.Yeah its called defending freedom, preventing nuclear armageddon, and making sure you, a Euro, get FREE (tm) Healthcare because your military consists of tinfoil and paper straws.
I didn't want to point it out but that reminded me of LISA the rpg.Shut up and take your dose of JOY.

Consooom or die, faggotAnd yet, it’s advertised on every piece of media I consume.
Democrats hate people who grew up in poverty succeeding.Attacking Vance for going to Yale is, and forgive me for using this term, weird. Why would it be a bad thing? I thought Democrats complained rethuglicans were ignorant chuds who didn't go to college? But now that they go to college it's a bad thing? What? And why is Timmy bragging that none of his students went to Yale? I guess he sucked as a teacher, then.
A lot of that one is "this is the worst fucking case possible to try and defend" The guy was a danger and not who you want to bring to the SC over this sort of thing... there's a "This Week in Guns" (the show with the anchor baby lawyer and AnCom 3D printer enthusiast) episode that covers it. If the facts in this case aren't as icky, it might stand a chance... The Rahimi decision was very narrowly tailored. To be fair, what tradition actually means is still a little murky post-Rahimi.
I agree that the correct outcome should be to say “no, the NFA is not constitutional, ‘SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED’ is quite plain in its meaning and the founders let people own cannons ffs.”
But I would not be shocked to see Robert’s squish like he did with Rahimi, and say “well when we said tradition we didn’t really mean it…”
