I dunno man dude said he had a family issue? Certainly one of the strangest arcs in DSP history. SmugSydePhil never lasts because Phil does not know how to take a W. What you do is stay modest. What you do not do is:

- Copy KC lingo (felted, based, etc.)
- Boast your new riches
- Shit on your hardcore fan base
- Bring back the "King" moniker you have avoided like the plague for years
- Taunt the detractors every stream
- Start buying new stuff instantly
- Gold medal tier mental gymnastics to cope how you "avoid drama"

Watch out DSP, the KC whales are mentally ill faggots well on their way to reach SoK tier detractor sped levels. The DSP cycle never fails.

Keem's apology is obviously fake and gay, but so is his beef with Phil. I mean, that dude is soulless, like quite literally soulless. He's not offended by what Phil has said and done, he's offended he didn't give him the attention he felt entitled to. Keem needs a third host for Lolcow Live and has wanted to leave that project (or so he says, I don't believe that). The downfall from realizing he's being used for drama is all there is, but Phil repeatedly says he knows this is all a joke and he's paranoid.

I don't see the payoff here beyond Phil getting some more Champions pull sessions.

That, in itself, is a great payoff. Instead of putting that money into easing his debts he's just spending it on useless shit that will eventually get tossed into the closet with the rest of his hoarded items or straight to WWEC. He's just further cementing the fact that his business degree was worthless, he's learned nothing, and he'll always be an idiot begging for dollars every day even if he did strike it rich and win the lottery.

DSP ending up on the Lolcow Podcast would be a very entertaining ending to this current season. We all know the guy goes back on all his supposed moral principles, so seeing him go from hating Keem to brownnosing him as a razzer would just be the icing on the cake that is Phil's failed life and really show how two-faced he is. No one can spend 3 years hating someone and suddenly worship the ground they stand on and not be an absolute snake looking for something.

Normally it's predatory, but in DSP's case he is just looking to sit at the cool kids table.

I hate to say it but DSP is actually the funniest and most engaging he's been in years. Turns out the Sidescrollers were right when they told him how to monetize all the drama that comes his way. Not that he'd ever admit that.

Don't confuse this for positivity though. DSP is still an annoying hypocrite dickhead who thinks "morals" and "principles" don't apply if he has reason for revenge or he would make a buck.
