This is the funniest fucking part of the whole convention. Everyone on social media and even people here expected Taylor swift, then Beyoncé, or George fucking bush even as some special guest. But nothing. They couldn’t convince ANYONE actually recognizable or interesting to show up to their shitty, barely thrown together abortionmobile. You got the usual dems like obamna (at their worst) and some literal fucking who’s that I haven’t ever seen before and I like to think I keep up with this shit. Wasn’t Taylor at 2016 and 2020? Guess she called in sick. They couldn’t even get a fucking lizzo or the brat girl on stage for a final event.

Why do you think they want to get rid of Putin so much? He and United Russia (yeah, I know he's not actually a member of the party anymore but it still supports him) are the only things stopping the Communist Party from getting back into power and bringing back the USSR. For those that don't know, the Communist Party are the opposition party in Russia, the 2nd largest party. And it's always a member of the Communist Party that comes 2nd in Presidential elections. I know what you're thinking "Didn't they ban the Communist Party when the USSR collapsed?" Yes, they banned the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. So they disbanded then reformed under the name the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. It's pretty retarded that they didn't just ban communist parties.

Trump's legal team entered a motion to postpone the sentencing until after the election, there's supposed to be a decision on September 18th on whether he'll agree or not. If he agrees with them then the actual sentencing would be made a non-factor for Election Day.
If he disagrees then Trump in jail might affect votes but a lot of the MAGA base see Merchan and the court as corrupt (which they are), so they'll continue supporting him even if he's behind bars. It's uncharted water, legally Trump could win in a jail cell and still be sworn in, but the Dems would 100% use more lawfare to try to stop it.
