Both sides want daddy government to step in and crush their opponent at any cost, doesn't matter who or if the candidate is even qualified for the job, and both sides don't understand they are both creating an unfixable nightmare that will result in all of us being completely subjagated in all possible ways by an untouchable, out of control machine where we don't even get the illusion of having a say in it. For fuck's sake, this very site almost got destroyed by a Trump presidency because he had a hissy fit over Section 230, yet there are still people here who think he should have that power given back to him, just like people still think he will "preserve gun rights" when he actually trampled on them by banning bump stocks and backing red flag laws.
The government is not your god, corrupt scumbags are not going to save you, and no politician is going to magically fix everything. Put them back in the once-every-4-years corner where they belong.
