Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

I thought he only stole a piece and the sexy Twi'lek and her droid stole the other.
Yeah I think that was a later retcon to explain why there were so many stories of different characters obtaining the Death Star plans.

They reasoned it as some bullshit like the plans were separated into multiple pieces. Bit of a band aid solution but, serviceable I suppose.

Someone's never tried to buy the unabridged Republic and Jedi Omnibuses.
I had to use a chart from Wookiepedia to figure out how to read them all. Chart. Speaking of which I will never forgive them for handing the licence over to Marvel who has only produced shit during their run. I remember reading the Dark Horse comics as a small kid, and was how I engaged with Star Wars for a long time until I started reading the books and playing the games. Still hold up all these years later.

Don't care who they say stole the Death Star I plans, they never would have made it to Princess Leia if not for Bria Tharen (Han Solo's true and honest pre-Leia waifu, not treacherous bitch Daenerys) and her Red Hand Squadron recapturing them then defending the Imperial comm center on Toprawa until the Tantive IV finished receiving the transmission

Another serviceable solution is there were several "changeover" and "fake" plans to the Death Star II forcing the Rebellion to keep trying to obtain the most up-to-date plan and confirm it is not a fake.

It was also retconned to be like this because there are about eight different people credited with being the Death Star I's designer, so now they all designed a different important system or are the one who ended up putting it together.

Makes sense given how it wasn't just Einstein or Oppenheimer but a whole team of geniuses.

I for one cant wait for the R2-D2 origin story mini series.

Anakin making 3PO is probably the dumbest decision in the prequels. My guess is George in prequel mindset wanted some sort of, "how they met" aspect with R2 and 3PO. When it'd have been better they both were already working for Padme.

Having said that, what would be the most likely and completely retarded thing they'd actually do if they did an R2-D2 origin story?

Would it be something as stupid as during their manufacture someone spilt a drink which created a default that makes him special?

Will the black daughter of lesbians have used her black girl magic to make "her" special?

They'll make him an advocate for droid rights, just like Lando's sheboon droid in Solo.

It's so weird that they watched Fleabag and went "She's what we need for Star Wars and Indiana Jones."

Don't get me wrong, I actually really liked Fleabag, but I don't understand why anyone would watch it and think such a revolting character would be good for these franchises.

Still playing Empire at war, the land combat is fucking dogshit, and it is obnoxious how you and the enemy have to keep spawning in units because the game is so poorly coded it can't handle so many units at once, the mods literally are responsible for 90% of the improvements, like a fucking bethesda game. I hear with the Thrawn mod the population limit in a match is 300,
Wedge Antilles best pilot in the galaxy
imagine being the actor IRL, a hilariously minor role in a series of films, but after Jedi basically an entire group of people meme you into being the GOAT of a fictional universe, i know the answer is no, but i like to believe his legacy is a big reason his nephew got such a huge role in the prequels.
in the prequels.
don't know if its been said (by me) but there's a reason most of the prequel memes are about episode 3, the first two are rightfully hated for cringe shit like the r2-d2 and c3po bullshit. the podracing set piece could be fit in nearly anywhere, and the stuff from the prequels that is needed for the rest of that trilogy could just be exposition. The fact that most of the love for the prequels is about all the stuff from the clone wars should tell you the entire trilogy should have been set in the clone wars, (and maybe set it further back and try and keep closer to canon from what was established in the early 90s)

Forget Wedge Antilles when the fuck do we get the Porkins TV series huh? Disney, you fucking cowards?!

The lesson people should be learning from the Acolyte is that being high on copium, or denial doesn't work.

Complaining online, while still giving money to Disney, or watching grifter YouTubers, like Doomcuck, selling you the real life Lucasfilm fanfiction, of a Civil war won't work either.

The only thing that works is to not consume or watch their trash. That's it. Speak with your wallet. Everytime you give them money, even for the supposedly "good" parts is a tacit approval of their garbage.

There isn't a Lucasfilm civil war. There never was. Every dollar you give to Grogu's plushies or Disney+ subscriptions, or watch Filoni Ashoka's shows is a tacit approval of Disney.

Activists will die on the hill of their message. And corporations only understand money.

Its not just money. Don't give them your time or attention. Let it die quietly in a dark corner. Make it so one else will wonder what you're talking about and consoom.
