I've never understood this. I haven't seen a lot of old Phil, but he was very tuned into everything related to him. If this wrassle wrassle arc shows anything, it's that Phil has been putting on an act for the past few years about ignoring the drama, pahsitivity, meaningful content, etc. What do you think he's doing on X all night? I'm sure he knows about them, he knows about any criticism of him because people tell him. He knows Doody is pretty much a clown and not respected, so he focuses his attacks on him. TBS is a lot funnier and more effective at mocking Phil plus they show the whole context of what he says (which is Phil's usual criticism), so he can't just say "Doo-dee" in a stupid voice 100 times and call them idiots as a rebuttal.
