Order 1886 was exactly the kind of game everybody bitched about during the late PS3 era, a movie-game cover shooter.
But fuck Sony for killing Days Gone 2 because the first sold 'only' 8 million copies. Or rather, because it was secretly based.

I didn't even know that game was a thing. Forty bucks for a hero shooter in 2024? I got the only hero shooter I'd ever need free with my copy of Half Life 2: Episode 2 a lifetime ago.

Except this one was good, had a good story, intruiging characters and wasn't high on its own farts. It set the stage for a fantastic trilogy, one which RAD even said would grow and change as the games went on. They were learning what the game should be and the plans were to make The Order 1886: part 2, to be more about engaging gameplay, because 1 set it up so well. We were so close to Van Helsing in Victorian steampunk London but Sony had to be fucking faggots about it and suck Cuckman off because it made his game look worse by comparison.

I have a 2013 day one Xbox One and it has been collecting dust for so long, what exactly is it useful for? I can't mod the thing to make it useful, it sucks as a HTPC system, there are no games I want to play and the 360 titles I could play I can just use my 360 for them. Even the Series consoles have no games I want to play. Even the PS4 is more useful than this piece of shit and that thing only has like two games I'd be interested in playing on it.
Every console that came after the 360 has been so fucking gay man.

Remember Sony planned for six live services for 2024. They completely botched any goodwill from Helldivers 2 with their PSN requirement, now they go ahead and release an ugly hero shooter for $40. They must really hate their fans. What's left of them anyway.

Eight years of chasing a trend only for 600 peak players. Sony should've revived SOCOM or Killzone if they wanted to get back into the shooter market. Now that I think of it, SOCOM would not survive with Rainbow Six: Siege and Warzone taking over today's market.
