I have never seen a 80% bald man in his 50s act the way Jack is after shaving off the scraps. You often see teenage girls or women post pictures of themselves after doing something drastic to their hairstyle with captions like "I did a thing!". Jack doing it is sus and nauseating. He really thinks he is altering something huge about his appearance. He actually asked multiple times on facebook whether he should do it and everyone's response was something like "why not? You are already bald". Additionally, what the fuck is the point when he is gonna put on a backwards hat like the asshole he is like >90% of the time?

This is one of those things that's just instinctive to me, if you go inside you take off your hat. I never understood wearing a hat indoors, obviously excluding cases where you're supposed to or required to.

There's a story from colonial times about how visitors from Yale were shocked to see Harvard students eating in the hall with their hats on. Apparently the reason was, it was pretty cold in there due to the stone floors and masonry walls.
