I'd also throw in that he's describing ghostdetect in a weirdly incorrect "I just skimmed the post and made immediate judgements and am now an expert" type way that Nick always does with everything (like how he's now an expert on spectrographs and cocaine tests)

I have taken his comments and matched them up in ghostdetect against both Rekieta's shower texts to Null and Rekieta's twitter rant towards Sean. The results are a pretty damn close match. Again I make no scientific claim but what are the chances a lurker would stay quiet until a lulcow theyre following gets a mild ribbing and they just so happen to have a strikingly similar writing style to that lulcow?

These are the metrics it uses, listed beneath the results:

Gunning Fog Index (Comparable to Grade Levels)
Coleman-Liau Index (Comparable to Grade Levels)
SMOG Grade (Comparable to Grade Levels)
Automated Readability Index (1 is preschool, 2 is grade 1, etc.)
Average Sentence Length
Average Syllables Per Word

The first 6 are all variants on "how hard is this to understand, is this using words that a 5 year old or 20 year old would use", the last two are extremely superficial and basically irrelevant.

Actually this is even worse than I thought, I assumed reading grade metrics would use word lists or be somewhat involved but I checked all of them and they're literally all just basic manipulations of word/sentence/letter/syllable size/count etc. calculated in slightly different ways with different weightings. So this aggregate visual metric is even considering the same property multiple times. Stylometry is such a joke. And yeah this conversation is shitting up the thread, this guy should just take the L and delete/redact his original post with the fake stylometry. A lesson to be learned here though for those who have eyes to see.
