What's an unremarkable theater girl desperate for attention in a woke world to do? Poon out, diagnose herself with numerous mental health conditions, alienate her family, have a psychotic meltdown in the process, and attempt to monetize it, of course! That's what Tess Aurora Gantz did, attracting more eyes than even she could have dreamed of in the process. Tess went from a minor TikTok oddity to a frequent flyer on many larger right-leaning and commentary accounts, including Libs of TikTok.

Tess is very sensitive and reacts to hate videos about her from larger TikTokers, often in her typical overwrought fashion. She never misses an opportunity to play the victim and will most definitely try to e-beg off this thread once she finds out about it.

Tess is mentally unstable and her life continues to fall apart as she makes progressively worse decisions. From getting back on testosterone to angering everyone in her orbit with her Cluster B histrionics, there is nothing she won't do for that sweet, sweet attention she craves.

Early Life

Tess was a theater kid in high school (a1, a2) and began taking testosterone near the end of her high school career in 2014. Over the past several years, Tess has built a following on TikTok by being the most extreme - almost parodic - example of wokeness known to man. In this video, Tess claims veganism is racist against indigenous people because it disregards their practices of... using animal products:

One of Tess' favorite pastimes is Karening like the white woman she is, especially over Flu Manchu. She frequently admonishes her followers about mask-wearing, and as the first video in the thread showed, she even tries to make everyone around her wear masks, to little success.

Tess now identifies as Muslim, and has started going by Azlan instead of Aurora. She began reading the Qur'an and attending an online study group and found herself drawn to the clout she thought it might bring her its teachings.

In addition to LARPing as Muslim, she also LARPs as disabled and autistic. She claims to use a cane to walk... in a video where she's walking around just fine without it, because, as she claims, a friend showed her some stretches and suddenly she can walk around again or something.

E-Begging

As much as she whines about the hate she receives, Tess is always e-begging - and I mean like Lou Gagliardi levels - which invites more negative feedback. She claims to have nebulous health conditions and checks herself into the hospital (of both the medical and mental varieties.)

Much of her grifting centers around medical care (likely because she thinks it will make her look more sympathetic), though she has also e-begged after admitting her utilities were shut off at a prior place of residence. Her descent into Munchie-dom has been rapid, though she doesn't explicitly name much of what's wrong with her because it's all for attention and donations.

Tess sells Etsy-esque earrings and artisanal teas through her website, Lion Bird Studio (a). However, due to her laziness health issues, she keeps delaying shipment on the few orders she does receive. Here's a sampling of her wares:

I grew up barefoot in the Rocky Mountains: sketching my 80 year old Grandmother in her garden, reading the dictionary while curled up on her floral rocking-couch, and giving treats to the gaggle of stray cats that knew her porch would always be a safe place to be.

Above all else, I watched my Grandmother integrate learning into everyday life- and demonstrate that taking care of others is not only a responsibility we all hold as human beings, but also an honor.

She showed me just how much the little things really are the big things- especially with community and mutual aid. We had very little growing up with her when it came to resources- but what she had, she shared lovingly without question.

She was fierce, but kind- and passionate about making sure people truly felt like they belonged- and was always striving to deepen her knowledge about people’s unique experiences, traits, and histories.

I was a weird kid- with a brilliant brain, chatterbox mouth, and complete ignorance of social expectations/cues. As I’ve grown older- and particularly since learning that I am, in fact, actually Autistic and ADHD- I’ve come to understand just how rare and sweet it is to experience true belonging in the ways that I did with my Grandmother.

It’s been years since she died, and I still wish for so many things:
