To try and keep it to the Star Wars topic, I will say this is a justification for Jedi being against homosexuality since they are broadly Buddhist-Taoists, but no, there are proscriptions in various works against sexual misconduct which includes homosexuality (and non-vaginal sex for that matter which naturally includes it). I can get you more specific sources later but this is a snippet I got a while ago though I cannot remember the book.

The proscriptions are about finding enlightenment, and its more about rejecting fleeting pleasures of the flesh in a sort of catholic convergent evolution/those jews that will only fuck through the hole in the sheet. It is also considered good for society to try to eliminate these things because it means fewer people would be tempted by them and seek those instead of enlightenment.

Criticizing Jedi for practical applications of their philosophy was done in KotOR 2.
Unhealthy romance was done, for example, in Children of the Jedi (with Cray clinging to her dead husband) and Legacy of the Force (with Jacen, Anakin and Tahiri) and to some extent in Legacy, with implied short-lived romance between Cade and Darth Talon.

I'm pretty sure she's the reason the show gets so much hate instead of indifference like a lot of Disney Wars media generates. Creating a Ghostbusters 2016 marketing campaign is the single worst decision a production can make. And IMO, she's the worst actress too given the role she's given. Lesyle's Green Bean is not compelling, but she's just saying the lines she's given and those lines don't require that much emotion in the first place. All the drama in the story is supposed to be built around Occupational Health and Safety Administration and Fanny Mae and Stenberg fails at being a lead twice.
