How can we as society see this stuff and not react with absolute horror and demands for this cancer to be removed? What is wrong with us?

A few generations of being taught "everyone is the same, all cultures are equal, everyone can be redeemed." About 40 years of cultural acceptance which turned into ignorance and meekness. Our self preservation and pattern recognition is being trained away. We are being domesticated and told not to believe our eyes, and that speaking out can result in arrest or shaming. This compounds and turns once great empires into a soft, fat, cow that will roll over and let its throat be cut without ever feeling panic or distrust leading up to its death.

It is frustrating because this attitude needs to be changed, and most people are too scared or stupid to do anything and change their ideals. All society needs is the passive support of the silent majority to push back against this menace. I cannot foresee an event that will sway the silent majority, except for a strong, conservative leader reacting proactively to an event like this and showing that you can have balls and defend yourself. Could take years for someone like that to be elected though. I think, at least in America, people will either wise up and leave the cities, or be ignorant and stay to be terrorist fodder.

This was in Birmingham yesterday. Spoilered because it's horrifying.

I just want to point out this is just straight up attempted murder not some street fight. The guy tries to grab the nigger's hand to take control of the knife (entirely defensive move). When that fails he very clearly tries to back away (once again completely defensive). When this cunt swings a knife at him he does nothing but try to block that (obviously even more defensive actions). At no point does the victim do anything aggressive in this entire video nor is he armed himself. This is not a street fight, this is a man who tried to defend himself and as a result ended up with a knife in his neck. This is just a (hopefully) attempted murder and completely unjustifiable regardless of the argument or whatever that seemingly started this. If you are the type of person who would stab someone who is clearly trying to back away from you then I see no reason why that shouldn't be given the death sentence, people who have the mindset to do such a thing do not belong in a society and there is no point in locking them up, they will never change and so should be simply killed instead. I would say I hope he enjoys prison but considering it's birmingham and the prisons are probably 90% non english, he probably wouldn't even notice the difference. The nigh on complete apathy from the people around is also just disturbing like actual psychotic behaviour level. I get that birmingham is a shithole and this is common but you just watched someone got stabbed in the neck and had basically no reaction. Compare that to the monkey hollers from that one manchester airport video a couple months ago. They're not the same but I don't think it's a coincidence that they seemingly have more of a reaction when it's someone like them getting the brunt of the violence.

Detectives investigating a stabbing in Winson Green have rubbished "false reports" circulating online claiming the victim was pushing a child in a pram at the time of the attack. Police said the victim had a "trolley of belongings" and "no children were involved".

The victim, who remains in hospital in a stable condition, was attacked at the junction of Dudley Road and Bellefield Road at around 1.25am yesterday (August 24). Police arrested three men and a woman.

A 34-year-old man remains in custody on suspicion of attempted murder. Police said a woman, aged 22, and man, 26, were released and will face no further action.

A 29-year-old man arrested was charged with unrelated offences. Detectives were not looking to make any further arrests.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said last night: "Our investigation into a stabbing in Birmingham continues, with detectives examining mobile phone footage showing the incident. We were called to Dudley Road at its junction with Bellefield Road.

"The victim was taken to hospital after receiving a slash injury. He remains there in a stable condition this evening.

"Three men aged 34, 29 and 26 and a 22-year-old woman were all arrested after the attack. The 34-year-old man remains in custody on suspicion of attempted murder, while the woman aged 22 and man aged 26 have been released and will face no further action.

"The 29-year-old man arrested has been charged with unrelated offences. We’re aware of video circulating on social media showing the incident, and it is being examined as part of our enquiry. At this stage, detectives are not looking for anyone else as part of the investigation and it is be an isolated incident.

"We're aware of false reports that the victim was pushing a child in a pram at the time of the attack. This is not the case - the victim had a trolley of belongings with him at the time, and no children were involved."

A man has denied murdering his wife as she pushed their baby in a pram along a street in Bradford.
Habibur Masum, 26, is accused of fatally stabbing Kulsuma Akter as she walked in the Westgate area of the city on 6 April.
The baby was unharmed.
Appearing at Bradford Crown Court, Masum, of Leamington Avenue in Burnley, pleaded not guilty to murdering the 27-year-old and possession of a bladed article.

Mr Masum also denied two counts of assault by beating, one charge of making threats to kill and one charge of stalking, all against Ms Akter.
He also pleaded not guilty to possession of a bladed article.
Ms Akter was attacked at about 15:20 BST as she pushed her baby in Bradford city centre.
Emergency services were called, but Ms Akter was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The court heard the allegations of assault and threats to kill related to two days last November.
Mr Masum is accused of stalking Ms Akter between November and April, with the charge alleging he "tracked her movements and located her at a safe house, sent her messages of a menacing nature which contained threats to kill another and photos and videos of the area and premises where she was residing".
He is also alleged to have "loitered in the area of her temporary residence".
The charge alleges he caused her "alarm or distress" and to "fear that violence would be used against her".

Speaking after Ms Akter's death, her mother Monwara Begum said she had been left "heartbroken".
From her home in Bangladesh, she said: "I am in shock. She was my youngest daughter and I adored her greatly.
"When she moved to the United Kingdom I was alone, but Kulsuma would call me every day by video. The only day I didn't hear from her was the day she was attacked."
Judge Jonathan Rose remanded Mr Masum into custody until his next hearing at the same court on 27 September.
A trial is scheduled to begin on 2 December.
