Concord - robots with pronouns

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
When you think of games that have gotten "fixed", be it from 2.0 patches (Cyberpunk, Destiny 2), re-releases (FF14), or years of eating shit and diligently updating the game (NMS), the common element is that underneath the shit launch version, there was a game that people wanted. No one wants another hero shooter. The market is saturated and the genre is a joke. Even if God himself intervened, firing all the genderspecial diversity hires and making the game Based and Red Bulled™, I don't see how it would make a difference. People like a comeback story but they like to gravedance even more.
Put the multiplayer on hold or just leave it ticking over in the background and focus solely on single player, the MP portion is obviously DOA. Say the line of "we heard your feedback blah blah" and get to work making a better game.

You will never be a real professor. You have no PHD, no doctorate, no higher studies. You are a delusional man twisted by DEI and echochambers.
Take with a pinch of salt, but in the UK you don't need any PHD or doctorate to be called a professor, it can be applied to anyone, dating back to old english of a person of honesty who used to profess.

High fidelity face scans are going to be one of those things that serves as a marker for a particular "era" in video games. "Oh man remember when everyone was doing this? Wasn't that weird?" Those sorts of conversations.

And it isn't even that it's inherently bad; it can absolutely look great if handled correctly, but that almost always involves using actually attractive people for your models. When you look like the guy they used for Dante in DMC 5, you can do whatever you want. Put him in a weird hat and a flowy red scarf and have him do a Michael Jackson routine? Great idea, another home run for Capcom.

But when your character looks like's someone's aunt or a DMV employee, and then you throw some absolute cosplay tier accessories on her, and then have her do everything with a neutral facial expression, even the "active" poses look like your protagonist is enduring some kind of humiliation and is trying to power through it.

It will still grow a bit, It's currently at 600 players.
I think 1k is possible, but I'll be surprised if it hits 2k concurrent players.

For a bit of fun, here are some famous multiplayer flops in comparison (I tried to show their release month):

Keep making live services, gaming industry. People are not interested; have them eat each other so they could learn the hard way.

I really can't stand this shilling tactic. Oh, the game is garbage but people worked hard on it so you must get on your knees and suck their dicks. You aren't a superhero, this isn't a charity, you are a disposable grunt creating commercial slop products people pay money for.

The game sucks and will be discussed as such.

Hey, this can go the other way too!

"with regards to Black Myth Wukong: take a moment to remember that there are real people who for years have poured their heart and soul into making something to entertain you

it's all laughs, jokes and told ya so today but tomorrow it'll be more remakes, safe sequels and the lack of new IPs or any risks being taken

I'll always root for new games to succeed"

Figure out how to make fun games again and I will buy them.
some things i've seen say the real ticket may be up to $300 million out of sony's pocket
considering they managed an amount of players that makes suicide squads paltry numbers look impressive, it very well might be the biggest flop ever
Did they ever state the budget? I ran some back-of-napkin numbers and came up to around $160mil before marketing.

Even if they somehow manage to crack 1 million units sold this is a colossal fuckup, I would guess 1/20th that amount looking at concurrent player numbers.

at this point they’d be lucky to crack 10,000 units sold
