I've been out of the loop since the KC arc began. I'm watching random clips every now and then, and it's like being in a fever dream. Everything he says is even more outrageous than normal. He is exceeding my expectations in a scary way. He is actually becoming unpredictable. The mental illness is accelerating fast. Some of the faces that he pulls while cutting his promos are fucking concerning. His whole ego is on the line with everything he says.

Why exactly is he acting so tough all of the sudden? Because two losers on the internet interacted with him and made fun of him covertly instead of explicitly? And because he made some extra money? Huh?
"The King is BACK!?". Back from where? Where was the KING hidden this whole time and why was he hidden? What is going on?
DSP lashing out against Doody. Where did that come from? Did the KC guys ever even mentioned Doody? Did Phil just decide to pick a fight with Doody because "public opinion of him has changed"?

This guy always had a distorted view of reality which revolved around him and was displayed by his retconning and reactions during his gameplay. But now, we're watching him construct a fake reality that includes people which interact with him publicly, sometimes in real time.

Everything makes even less sense than usual. It's like a flip switched inside of him and he's now enabled to flaunt his schizophrenia to the world. So much pent up autistic narcissistic toxicity is being unleashed. It's like he's rebelling against his learned helplessness in the only way he knows how. By being an internet tough guy. That's what he always wanted to be, I suppose; Because of his arrested development.

The other fact is that this guy is incredibly lonely. And is only now realizing that leaning into the drama is alleviating the loneliness much better than his inane interactions with his army of wheelchairs.

This will only end badly for Phil. This much is obvious. We have the Joon the King documentary coming soon as well.
My prediction is thus: the documentary will carry a wave negativity towards him for a few days. Responding to the mockery, he will act even more manic, insulting everyone, probably even Joon. The KC guys will have a field day. DSP will make a lot of money. Then we should have a week of cope, during which he reassures himself that what he does is meaningful and that he loves his life (even though he's depressed). He will also cry a bit. The KC guys and Keemstar will start to grow bored of him. And then this arc will slowly fizzle out as he makes a few pathetic attempts at contacting other content creators who will snub him. This actually is the worst case scenario for narcissist Phil as the come down from the diminishing attention will hit him HARD.

Also, is the Null interview actually happening? Where? Why is Null so quiet about this?

I'm looking at this pic, and Phil really does show all the physical traits of a mongoloid. He has enough forehead you can play tic-tact-toe with it, he's got those glazed out eyes and the low brow and the hairline that looks like a roller coaster. He just looks so odd, like someone pressed the random select on the Saints Row 3 character generator and just ran with it.

Phil looks as close to a cro-magnon homo sapien as you can get without him dragging his knuckles on the ground and flinging his shit everywhere... actually, he pretty much does that now, doesn't he?

some people might not agree with me on this but I do feel pity for phil, for some he is a truly bad person (can't blame them) but you can tell he never had any sort of role model to guide him during his whole life, the way he gets baited so easily into ranting over stupid insignificant things just shows how he was never shaped to survive in the adult world.

His dad is an ex-marine and you can look him up in the threads.
Phil just grew up as a momma's boy and you can kinda assume his dad gave up on him because he got tired of buying toys for him and watching him play with them just in case he starts jerking off on the he-man doll or choke on the pieces.

When you point at a video and it starts to play the preview in the thumbnail youtube considers that to be exactly the same as watching the actual video. There is literally no distinction between clicking on a youtube and intentionally watching it, or accidently moving the mouse pointer over a thumbnail. It's the most retarded "feature" on youtube and I can't think of even one good reason for it.

Null said in the last MATI that Phil had rescheduled on him at least once and that there was a nonzero chance it would happen again, so speculatively he doesn’t want a shitload of Kiwis or anyone else to Phil’s chat only for it to be a regular DSP stream with a bunch of disappointed autists and a “Register/Login” button right there on the screen, tempting them.

DSP was being an asshole, he called one of them a "pattern player", then Brian went "Wait, who a pattern player?" and DSP folded and lied "I didn't call anyone a pattern player".

It was pretty funny, but since those guys were't doing a bit to milk DSP like KC, Brian and his crew just didn't feel like playing with him again.

what the guy above me said, he's very obssessed with SF6 because it is the only game where he can boost his ego about being master rank even when the ranking system in SF6 has been dumbed down compared to the past games and anyone can reach it, he is extremely toxic on stream when he plays SF6 so it was funny to see how he was doing his best to avoid talking shit with brian but the temptation was too much to handle.

Well. I cannot blame him to change direction. Remember: Money drives the creature. What did all the years of being positive and chill got him? Declining income. Now he was showered with money for a different act and he leans into it.

Calling him coddled or a momma's boy is really an understatement, he was infantilized by her. He only learned some basic skills like how to operate a washing machine in his 30s. We don't know a lot about Linda but I wouldn't be surprised if she was a narcissist given that infantilization is one of the most common ways narcissistic parents abuse their children.

I'm getting exactly what I wanted out of this arc, he is going completely off the deep end and is really showing how mad he gets because people make some autistic youtube videos about him. Not even Ralph gets this unhinged this often.

This. I was going to say, the tiny red bar amount is what you get when you hover over a video and it starts autoplaying in that tiny window. It's entirely possible he was just hovering over the video to check the full title. Otherwise, even for Phil, watching like the first 20 seconds of a video, stopping, then going to watch the next 20 seconds of the next is odd behavior. That's not to say he hasn't watched at least some of them, because he definitely has, but not all of them. It also seems like he at least follows the channel to keep checking what is uploaded. I'd honestly chalk it up to laziness and it's probably why Phil was complaining about their being too many videos.
