I've seen a few funny Chinese names on Harris and the one that took the cake was a very clever transliteration of Kamala which could read "Stuck full (of) shit".

A few people ITT have questioned the wisdom of RFK dropping out, as they felt that more people would break for Harris. I have my doubts about that.
Those Democrats who preferred to vote for RFK were going to do so because they had serious doubts about Kamala, and had some degree of respect for Robert. The endorsement of Trump by RFK is Robert looking at his supporters and earnestly saying "You trusted me, so now trust me that this is the direction that this country needs to go. "
The endorsement will be what stops people breaking for Harris off his campaign. The TDS sufferers largely plug their ears and shut their eyes on Trump, but RFK's endorsement forces them to look. If even a few of them realize they've been duped by the left, if that veneer breaks, the Dems lose them forever.
You can't un-take the red pill.

A opinion I’ve heard floating around is that Kamala is a consciously chosen sacrificial lamb. They’re going to try hard to get her to win, but they understand that its a stretch. Someone has to fall on the sword, and they’ve chosen her.
You’d have to be really fucking stupid to try to crawl your way into a nomination spot with everything thats happened this season. Trump almost got killed, Biden has dementia, War is erupting in the middle east (again), and things cost 4x more than they did 4 years ago. I truly just don’t see a Democrat victory. Kamala’s political career is okay to die right here.

I've heard (and don't really agree with, despite its plausibility) a similar theory from a couple of podcasters. The theory is that the nebulous they want Trump to win because things are getting bad, the crash is coming, and they want to be able to blame it on the republicans. So they're running a deliberately slipshod campaign with a known charisma vacuum as a nominee because they don't think they can actually win and only have to make it look like they tried.

Most polls prior to cumala had 10-15 undecided. Basically Democrats who were hesitant to jump for Biden.
Those numbers have come home and now support kamala.
The honeymoon period was bringing back lost democrat voters.
Now, it's about fighting for 3-5% undecided voters.

Without how fucking insane things have been, I don't know how far fetched that is. The VP choice alone seemed to me like such a stupid decision. I agree with this as a possibility, still because they are obsessed with power they will still try to win just for power's sake, but in actuality they want Trump to be in the WH when everything explodes. If they can squeeze out a win so be it, they will still take it, but they probably think they cant win. This would be the peaceful wishful thinking route. The economy will crash, its a question of who is holding the bag when it does.
Its either this or they will refuse to loose at all costs and will vaporize half of the country to do it. I tend to think the idea is win at all costs which includes horrific actions with horrific ramifications.
