Careercow Donald J Trump - 45th/47th President of the USA, convicted felon, Epstein bro, Putin simp, serial liar, sore loser, cheat and the Chris-Chan of Presidents. THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL DEBATE THREAD.

Keep that in mind by the way, he knows he released most of the JFK files but is more than happy to assign RFK Jr. to the paltry position of heading up a taskforce to release more(?) information about this as his prize for suspending his campaign and endorsing Donny.

Everything else is fair game, but the literal second Epstein's documents are brought up, what does he do? He starts faltering and sweating. What will we find in those documents? Why is he suddenly growing a conscience about draining the swamp? Could it be that he may just be a swamp monster as well and everyone that knows to read between the lines called it years ago?
Who fucking knows, but the right are either retarded or willfully ignorant about this and it tickles me every time.
Well yeah he doesn't want everyone to know that he is best buddies with Epstein the same way Bill Clinton is.

As a side note, it's a shame that the Democrats can never distance themselves from the Clintons, because if they did, would be funny to see Epstein brought up on the national level and Trump getting defensive about his good friend Jeff.

Apparently, Donny is having second thoughts about his debate with Harris on Sept 10th and has thrown some pocket sand at the media to confuse things.

His claims are that the Harris campaign is trying to change the agreed upon rules. Which amount to if candidates are seated, give opening statements, and can have notes. All of which doesn't sound like a good reason to start whining about even if these requests happened. You'd think Trump would benefit from these things as well.

The statement made by Trump's campaign advisor Jason Miller is: “Enough with the games. We accepted the ABC debate under the exact same terms as the CNN debate. The Harris camp, after having already agreed to the CNN rules, asked for a seated debate, with notes, and opening statements. We said no changes to the agreed upon rules,” Jason Miller, senior adviser for Trump told Playbook last night. “If Kamala Harris isn’t smart enough to repeat the messaging points her handlers want her to memorize, that’s their problem."

BUT... the statement from the Harris camp is: “All three parties (Trump, Harris and ABC) have agreed to standing and no notes, and we never sought otherwise”.

However, also according to Harris camp, Kamala is open to having the mics hot through the whole debate, getting rid of the muting put in place because Donny can't stop from sperging out and generally turning debates into his own public masturbation sessions.

Brian Fallon, the Harris senior campaign advisor added: "We have told ABC and other networks seeking to host a possible October debate that we believe both candidates’ mics should be live throughout the full broadcast. But our understanding is that Trump’s handlers prefer the muted microphone because they don’t think their candidate can act presidential for 90 minutes on his own. We suspect Trump’s team has not even told their boss about this dispute because it would be too embarrassing to admit they don’t think he can handle himself against Vice President Harris without the benefit of a mute button.”

I can't make heads or tails of why Trump is suddenly whining about this if what the Harris campaign says is true. I'm inclined to believe Trump is just whining about an invented problem like he frequently does to control the news cycle. But I also can't find anything to verify his claim that the Harris campaign has asked for these kinds of changes anywhere outside of random X posts from Bluecheck bots that are clearly aligned with the Trump campaign's messaging brand.

I also generally don't treat anything seen on X as real these days. From anyone.

So. We have Trump suddenly pissy about the debate over some rule changes the Harris campaign says they never asked for, but unaddressed from the Trump campaign is Harris's openness to changing the mic rule to being hot mics always. Which Harris's campaign posits that Trump's camp isn't telling their boss about.

It's it possible the Trump campaign just told Trump some other shit to distract him from the open mic so they don't have to deal with his mouth for 90 mins?

Is the Harris campaign lying when they say they never sought rule changes to the Sept 10th debate?

Will Donny shit himself and do nothing?

I don't know, but one thing is for sure, none of us will have the option to ignore it and just live our fucking lives.

This is what narcissistls do if backed into a corner against someone who they know won't put up with their behavior.

They try to weasel out, using any tactics they think will work. They start by lying about the other person, trying to paint them as unreasonable awful people, unlike themselves who are fair and even handed.

The Harris campaign seems to be handling this appropriately. Directly calling out a narcissist on their lies and manipulation, makes the narcissist angry but when forced to face the truth, especially publicly, they won't do much more than seethe about it.

He knows he can't compete with her, he was expecting Biden who he would just be able to talk over and call him names. Kamala won't put up with that, and he knows it. She famously interrupted someone trying to talk over her in the last election during a debate and she cut them off and said "I'm still talking ." Trump knows the likelihood of him being embarrassed by her is high, and like all narcissists he's in panic mode. I expect him to retreat and try to come at getting out of it from a different angle.

If forced to he'll show up, all puffed up like a kitten trying to make himself big against the dog who doesn't care about the kitten.

I'm not entirely sold on the concept of Harris being able to handle Donny 1v1 in a verbal joust. Harris's whole existence in the race still feels like a flimsy construct to me. One made by a panicked DNC at the last minute after Biden spent the first debate looking like a confused old man looking for the Country Kitchen Buffet sign.

Her time spent as a prosecutor in a court room arguing cases doesn't mean shit to Donny's engagements. Courts are bound by rules of decorum and maturity. You can be incredible in that framework, but a floundering idiot the moment someone looks at you and says something a judge would normally hold in contempt but no judge is there to save you.

I'll give her and her campaign credit for finally taking the gloves off and pushing Donny against the ropes for a couple weeks. But she's got a long way to go to prove she can deal with his autistic firehose of bullshit without careful scripting and messaging when it's turned on full force and pointed directly at her live and in real time.

Biden dropping out broke his stride and he's really struggled to get back on the pace. But he IS getting back on his pace. He's getting his momentum and mojo back, albiet slowly. He's finally hitting the rally schedule again, and that's where he does his most productive and effective demagoguery.

So I'm all for calling the orange taint out on his bullshit, but I will give him one: Harris suddenly wanting live mics IS changing the deal, and for all the bitching everyone did for Trump to honor the agreements he already made, changing it is a bullshit move. Either you honor the deal as is, or you renegotiate it full cloth. You don't get to have it both ways.

You may be right, I can't say for sure. But I think he's scared she might be able to. If he was more confident, I don't think he'd be trying to weasel out.

Except everyone already knows the government is corrupt, murders people, meddles in world affairs, lies, and has pedophiles in it's elite ranks. So I don't know what they're expecting to happen by waiving a 50 year old, heavily redacted report around. What are we going to do? Dig up Hoover's bones and piss on them?
This shit is by far the most frustrating part of our established government. We have had long confirmation on a lot of the fucked up things they have done.
Biggest instance I will never shut up about is the Iran-Contra "War-On-Drugs" that pretty much proved that the US was buying and distributing South American drugs in the inner cities and saw Journo Gary Webb get shot twice in the back of the head from "Suicide" for outing Raegan as the treasonous fuck he was.
And you know what the US did about it? Fuck all. Same as they will when they get confirmation that the government had some knowledge or hand in JFK's assassination

I agree. While Harris is gaining traction, I don't think she's the DNC's first or second pick. I think that the idea was tossed around that Joe drops, but I think they had no idea what the fuck to do about a replacement and ran with the first person they could think of and behind-the-scenes shrieked "UNIFY NOW!!!" and they just kinda did.
That being said, when Trump screams for unity, half of his party try to oust their own Speaker of The House.

It's so faggoty that they are trying this shit now. If they don't back down then they will be losing a portion of the high ground they were taking in agreeing to the original debate. Especially because Fatass was already crying about the idea of doing said debate as it is.
Trump is literally that whiny, fat, rich kid that uses every excuse he can to claim victory or weasel out of obligations in any kind of game or competition. Why give him more excuses? Especially when he's shown that even with his mic being muted he'll go apeshit and speak over the mute, sounding like a muffled retard -which I personally find significantly more amusing.

This was why I voted for him in 2016. Between Trump and Hillary, it wasn't even a question. Trump (at the time) represented a vague chance that something would change. Turns out...

Well, not entirely. He DID make change. Just in a weird, christian nationalistic bent with a sprinkling of authoritarianism.

The biggest change Trump made was to standard discourse. Before you were expected to follow up your argument with a source. Now you can just scream and yell until everyone is too tired to argue with you.

He turned politics into a post truth society. Just lie all the time and people will give up holding you accountable for your lies because by the time they get to you you're 50 lies further down the narrative.

He killed civility in politics.

I would go so far as saying he killed civility in general. Like I see people using Trumpisms to argue about minor shit. He destroyed discourse period.

To be fair, Trump did say today that he wanted the mics on. I feel like maybe his handlers are trying to stop that though Trump has also proven to be a hypocrite at times. So who really knows.

I don't think it's about if he wants the mics on or not. It's about making the whole thing about the Harris campaign "cheating" by trying to change an established set of rules for the engagement. The details don't matter. From what I read, the Harris campaign indicated they'd be open to it is all. Not that they'd requested it.

But, as everything in politics and especially politics with Trump involved, what's true, the details and the nuances don't matter. It's all about the message.

I wish people would have told Biden "no" when it came to fucking with the standard debate format. I get it, but now it's going to be a point of bickering for the rest of time.
I wish people would have told Trump "no!" when he wanted to run for president. Everything was so great before he got into office. He's old and dumb and a bad person that's never told the truth ever.

And when he talked about grabbing pussies! With all the dicks that go in them, only fags think about and touch vaginas. Gross!
