I sincerely doubt he actually cares about Ukraine, or DemocracyTM. I think he might hate Russians, but I don't think he hates them as much as some others would believe.
The thing he cares about most is being right and seen as Correct and WholesomeTM. Problem is that he is a low IQ narcissist and choses his position on something and then later tries to justify it. But I think the backlash from the T-14 debacle has pee pee slapped him hard enough to move away from milsperg stuff. It's why the AK-47 is a Sturmgewehr 44 video never materialized. He had enough sense to realize he couldn't push that bullshit without getting into trouble again.

Being a grifter doesn't mean you can't also believe to some extent the shit you are shilling. But I don't think he is a grifter. He is an internet tough guy that tries to have a WholesomeTM edge to his fake persona.
Every time he talks about himself he clearly lies to appear better. The whole "I worked in intelligence my dudes" BS should be called out more and it's a clear mark of his pattern of self aggrandizing lies. The fact that he calls himself a historian with no degree, no paper and no book is also further proof of that. Him pivoting from history to just politics might be a sign he realizes he can't lie too hard on that side and is quitting while his ahead before someone actually calls him out on his lies.

Yeah this is the biggest delineation I'd make with piggy. He lies, constantly, about his personal history and creditability, and is consistently wrong about some of the key subjects he talks about, but I've never got the impression he's been disingenuous about his ideological beliefs. He is very fat and gay, but he's at least been very consistent about being fat and gay.

I didn't post the clips but you watch the stream with the notes i wrote you can see what im talking about.

I didn't watch the full video im not interest on what he haves to say, just wanted to highlight this cause i found it interesting.

Lazerpig visits Ukraine together with other historytuber History of everything.
I watched it, its nothing too special. Video tries to strike a balance between humanizing the country while respecting the war. As is custom, lots of alcohol is drank.

Some random things (not a compressive list by any means):
- 2:43 invited by united24, a Ukraine state media arm.
- 15:25 drove to an isolated town to donate toys to a hospital for mentally handicapped children.
- 24:04 Ukraine has running trains available to the public.
- 27:00 visited Kharkiv to view the destruction.
- 33:30 a long winded visit to Pripyat, which I've seen in so many YouTube videos by now I'm starting to think its Ukraine's version of Disney land.
- 57:55 Lazerpig gives his gay guy take on Ukraine's LGBT community. He exchanged numbers with someone in Kiev and "talked throughout the night". I'm sure nothing more was exchanged.
- mentions Ukraine having enough military aged men walking about (not conscripted) at least twice.

The video feels like a vacation vlog with occasional air raid sirens. He speaks about the reality check these locations give but conveying this through video is hard so the vlog ends up putting a lot of focus on the vacation-y aspects.

That's the vibe I was getting and barely made it past the intro. I have no desire to sit through an hour long vacation vlog that's infested with enough hamfisted politicizing to qualify as propaganda, and not even the good kind of propaganda like Casablanca.

Its good to know that to lazerpig that all these men died doing the single greatest thing they can, fighting pure evil russians. Going through this cementry must be pretty easy when you don't have the mindset that thee guys are no different to the dead Russian soliders other than being born on the other side of a border, a border that was only made 30 years ago.

He was trying so hard to do the "I'm a war journalist" thing but went nowhere near the front line which would have given him an actual opportunity to showcase what he was talking about.

Why even make this? All hes done is make Ukraine look relatively safe which is directly counter to his goals of mustering up support for Ukraine.

If I watched this without context I would figure he was traveling to a place that had been hit by a relatively minor earthquake. He made a mockery out of this trip and made it look like a fun holiday which completely shatters the "This is an active warzone" image hes trying to convey.

Surely if his trip was sponsored by United 24 they could have gotten him at least close enough so he could personally film some stuff with a drone or something right? He claimed in his Discord he personally saw dead bodies but he seems quite jolly throughout the entire video.

During the Kharkiv part, Lazerpig states that the area was bombed last month? Yet, here it looks like it's been some time when it was shelled.
 
Just skipping aorund the video it really does feel like a tourist video. A few things the above summary didn't mention I think is worth noting.
-32:30 He tried a Russian MRE and he gags and has to spit it out. Its an MRE it can't be that bad, especially not for a fat fuck like him, hamming it up how inedible the food of his enemies are. Which is a very old school colonial imperialist technique, 'look at these savages eating 'thing foreigner finds gross or weird here' clearly we need to civilise/genocide them'. I know this seems super mino and weird to pick up but it is the small subtle things like this that really acts as the foundation of genocidal hatred of whole peoples, as Laserpig clearly has of Russians.
-52:45 He ties a fucking Super Earth flag to a ferris wheel in Pripyat, because the 'trans rights flag wouldn't arrive on time' and Scottish flags aren't made big enough. Why? In places like that you, of mass human disaster you feel this compulsion to touch nothing and leave everything as you found it.
