this year alone, mail in ballots for various primaries and state/local elections are being delivered late past the deadlines. usps says its because theyre updating their mail system but no ones know for sure why. in some cities ballots arent being counted despite having a valid post date because its coming weeks after the deadline.

I have to stop you right there because everyone seems to have forgotten that lifelong germaphobe Donald Trump was all for expanding absentee voting and mail-in ballots at the height of the pandemic right before 2020's primary season (March/April 2019)... All because Trump couldn't see how stacks of anonymous ballots left on a street corner in the ghetto would be used to screw him.

I haven't forgotten. The retard was pushing for it because he thought it was the only way to get his senior citizen base to vote, since they were scared into isolation for months. Then there was a sudden, distinct flip where he stopped pushing for that and pushed for in-person voting. It was alongside the message that lockdowns had to stop, as well, so it didn't sound contradictory unless you were paying attention.

I'd have to go back and double check, but I believe Trump's flip-flop happened in August/early September, right around the time the Biden campaign was quietly pulling out of certain states. Specifically, states like Michigan where they had perfected the ballot stuffing system. Democrats on the ground were freaking out that the campaign were abandoning them. It wasn't until election day that the dates on all the mail-in ballots for 130 yr old dead people confirmed the timing.

All that bullshit with the voting machine was Trump's unprepared legal team taking the bait. Those machines have been insecure garbage for decades, and they weren't where the steal was happening (mostly). It was infuriating watching the actual research on ballot requests get squashed on Twitter while Giuliani prances around babbling about cybersecurity like a retard.
