Since September 3rd, 2020. If the game was a 1-man project like i originally thought it was, i could excuse the slow development. But with an actual team, i don't know what the fuck is taking them so long. Maybe vigorously testing the buttplug mod and thirsting after femboys on Reddit is causing so many delays.

Shitty games like these are left in development hell forever because it's nothing but beneficial see below:

For starters all criticism can be waived away because its "still early access" and isn't done yet, therefor all criticism is completely baseless

2nd keeping it in development hell with feature creep encourages the formation of a ravenous fanbase that will live as long as the game is "early access". Had this game been fully released in 2020 it's unlikely the fanbase would be as active as it is today.

Then finally once you are able to "release" the game to a 1.0 state you will get a massive influx of new sales from steam pushing your game for a 2nd time because it's out of early access.

The actual truth is it's because the development team are a bunch of lazy faggots who have spent 3 years building and texturing models that that with poly counts in the 10s that would otherwise taken around a week to put together by competent modelers.

I know it has probably been said a hundred times over, but the oversaturated PS1 "artstyle" is always a massive red flag for troon involvement. I think the only game I ever saw that may have been spared this pattern only really used it for cutscenes and was more influenced by Hylics 2 everywhere else. Whenever I see these fake PS1 games that often don't actually conform to the graphical limitations that the PS1 had, I begin placing bets on whether troon shit is going to happen or even make an ingame appearance. And I have been more often right than wrong so far.

It's hard to describe, but while the convention goers themselves were surprisingly decent by convention standards, Gianni in particular had this aura of slime and filth about him that's one of those "you know it when you feel it" things.

I'd say I wonder if Digital Extremes knew of the Roblox baby birthing video Gianni did before hiring him on as Stalker, but considering they have a ASMR porn star voicing a Sister of Parvos variation and Rebecca Ford is notorious for posting thirst trap photos of herself on social media, they probably knew about it but decided to ignore it. People have been fired from other video game projects for far worse and less, I'm not sure that's a good or a bad thing.

Ultrakill is a deece game. sad the devs are fags. however, I have to akshyually the OP's linking of New Blood to this degeneracy. Hakita does not own New Blood, Dave Oshry does. in fact, Hakita has no position in the company beyond being the lead dev of Ultrakill, nor any listed interaction with New Blood's other projects, which are largely sick as hell: Dusk, Amid Evil, Gloomwood, Faith: The Unholy Trinity (MORTIS), Nightdive's Rise of the Triad KEX port, and now Fallen Aces. as far as I know, New Blood is a great publisher that does good work and takes care of its devs, and has not enshrined troonshit in any area of its greater infrastructure. whatever degeneracy is discussed here is endemic to the Ultrakill team itself.

In my opinion, if a game developer has a porn addiction and they are keeping that shit private, then I don't care. However they weren't keeping that shit private and did some pretty weird sexual shit in public, and for that they deserved to get laughed at.

I will say though to the people who enjoy UK that's fine if you like it. In my opinion people should separate the art from the artist, same with the community. I love playing DBD but I don't like the community and in fact made a thread on them.

You're also forgetting that other people who don't browse here who will buy the games and streamers look for the next FOTM game are gonna buy it who in turn might convince their audience to buy the game through watching them play it and are interested in the game itself. They've already gotten the bulk of their sales from day 1, your choice to not buy is a small blip no one pays attention to cause 90% of the people who wanted it have already bought it.

Good OP. It's a shame Faith got published under New Blood because that's a great little game. I think that was and always has been a one man project so I don't think much wormed its way into the game in terms of faggotry. Mason Smith the creator of faith is actually a devout Christian and believes in god. Before he made FAITH he did work as a missionary in Argentina and has a loving family. A shining light of purity in an otherwise dark well of degeneracy. (shame his game is attached to New Blood though)

Felt this was worth including, heard about it in passing when it was happening. The Ultrakill subreddit had to put out a PSA (archive link) late last year because too many underage "femboys" were posting thigh pictures. Notably, despite knowing their board was apparently overrun with children, they did not tell adult users to stop posting sexual pictures of themselves (on the board for an indie video game), nor did they make any effort to get kids out, instead telling them to...just not tell anyone they're underage. The reasoning? "Whether you want it or not, kids gonna come here" and "the entire femboy subculture is incredibly sexualized". It seems to me these would be good reasons to keep children separated from their "subculture", but apparently that did not occur to redditors.
