I listen to Hannity on the AM frequently and he is very pro-Trump. What most likely happened here is you turned on the broadcast after he already mentioned the debate stuff and either you missed him talking about Harris's team trying to change the rules, or he slipped up and didn't mention that context. It could also be that you were listening to an older show when he didn't have that information.

Democrats have created a culture where teachers are literally worshipped, so many parents just trust them blindly.

Don't get me wrong, there are still some great teachers out there who are still trying to do a good job (only to be roadblocked by horrible administrations and school boards), but the vast majority of teachers I've come across are all the most self-centered and narcissistic people with martyr complexes I've ever met. Back when I was single, I made a point to make a rule for myself: Don't date a teacher. I held true to that promise, lol.

To quote the late and great Norm Macdonald, "I can't call your profession 'heroic' when you have the same vacation schedule as children."

Also, our government has created a culture where most families need two incomes, and when both parents are working more than they are at home, they need the "free daycare." Republicans are just as responsible for creating this shitty-ass economy over the past few decades, and have been sitting on their thumbs about the culture.

"I loved that both my parents were rarely at home because they were both working," said no child ever.

The school system is so fucked right now.

I have two children in grade school. The teachers are not teaching anything to these kids. They're dancing at school instead of learning. Back to school night the teachers were talking about a flash dance mob that they're working on with the kids (my child is one of the 'big kids' at elementary school, this isn't a kindergartener). One of my children's classes has 41 kids in it. I have my child in reading tutoring because they are behind. Gee, I wonder why. They're learning how to dance instead of read.

Lets be so fucking for real. The public school system is extended daycare now. I have to make sure my kids get educated on my own time (and dime) and yet I still have to send my kids to the public school system because if I don't the government will come after me for truancy.

I am all for getting my kids out of this faggot school system and into private Christian school but my fat ex wife who has 'single mom' in her instagram bio says no because "I don't want to raise kids in a religious school". You'd rather send them to school with all of the faggots, trannys, furries, tampons in the boys bathroom?

In certain areas and in certain political groups, yes. In much of the country, even in very liberal states, I can guarantee you that this is not the case. There are districts where teachers are nothing more than government-funded daycare workers and they are treated as such.

Everything else about your post is spot on.

Covid taught me that the "government-funded daycare workers" hold a lot more influence and power than you think.

People were quick to jump on the "teachers are essential workers and HEROES!" bandwagon, as they, you know, convinced the world that they shouldn't be forced to go to work and do their jobs properly.
