Seriously broken people are incapable of understanding that they are responsible for their own mental health, not random people on the internet that they don't know or have direct contact with. It's way easier to blame a general concept of society for their problems than to work on themselves. It makes them and anyone else they are compatible with feel like helpless victims and removes responsibility for their actions.
