Definitely agree with the consensus that the indie showcase in particular was pure shit. The other one wasn't bad, but I did hope for more.

New Rune Factory info is enough to tide me over, though.

The new Atelier looks good too, although I haven't played anything from that series yet.

The indie part was weak but the third-party showcase was pretty good, I was legitimately surprised by Yakuza finally getting ported on Switch (despite an old interview of the executive Masayoshi Yokoyama saying the Nintendo console didn't feel "underground" enough for the games). Not a fan of Kiwami 1 personally but I assume the other games (3-4-5, Zero and hopefully Dead Souls) will be released afterwards.

The Trials in the Sky remake is another pleasant surprise and I hope the new Atelier game doesn't follow Ryza's footsteps in gameplay design.

I'm cautious about the Capcom retro collection for eventual censorship concerns but wouldn't mind getting it if nothing bad is reported.

I forgot how much JP directs have diverged from the international one in the last couple years.

Tokimeki refresh looks good, I might try a runthrough of it, my Japanese isnt great but enough to muddle through.

Kinda annoyed about Shiren 6 getting a plus pack because I bought the regular physical only a few months ago.

Moon spiritual successor Stray Children looked really solid.

Urban Myth Dissolution Center looked really cool too, I see a Steam page in english so hopefully that's translated soon.

Surprised to see Tetris Battle Gaiden get acknowledged as having ever existed.

Graces F I would probably just play the PS3 ver but if you haven't tried it it's very good, very combat focused maybe my favourite Tales game.

New Atelier and Rune Factory looked good.

But yeah very weak overall. The indie section was some turbo slop fest.

Graces F is probably one of the worst tales games story wise, but that combat is fucking peak

I surprised Yakuza Kiwami - and only Kiwami - is getting ported. I guess it’s to promote the show, but I thought they would port it together with 0.

But yeah, I’ll probably get that Tetris collection assuming it’s a good price.

Surprised that Stalker trilogy made it to the switch.

Capcom giving us another fighting collection with Power Stone is great. And i’m happy that we finally got a date for Marvel Capcom collection.

More Castlevania being ported is always good. But, i wish we had Symphony of the Night get ported outside of PlayStation.

Tetris collection looks interesting. I’ll probably pick that one up.

What I didn’t like, is the Indie showcase. Alot of shit games on display. The one that made me laugh my balls off was Date Everything. What the hell was that? LMFAO.

I have no idea what that even is but I saw the title and assumed it was some gay card building game with a pizza theme. And then I got angry.

Looking at the screenshots i like how they used the screenspace of the switch to evenly place the dual screens from the DS, prioritizing the main screen while giving the secondary one just enough space so that it's not ant-size.

This is how ALL DS & 3DS games should play out if they ever got ported to the switch.

The Switch 2 having a larger screen (if rumours are to be believed) will be great for DS ports like the Professor Layton series.

Here's an interesting one, the official Brazilian CoD account retweeted/eyeball emojied a bunch of tweets about the direct and then deleted them all. They are legally on the hook to do something with Switch this year. Secretly a straight port of MW1 would blow what the other consoles got out of the water.
