You have spoken the truth my man. This is something that always get me as stupid for Jerry, of course everything he does is that. He keeps mentioning the ending and how bam, I'm not pro-pedo. But that ending really did had one problem that always doesn't make any sense. If these character are living in a modern world, then wouldn't the police investigate and arrest the killer. I mean, come on, they just kill her in the most witch hunt way possible and that's it, no police, no investigation, EVERY character somehow was okay with it? This is something in Jerry's writing that good writer wouldn't do, not sticking with your setting and not having cause and effect. Jerry always say that you could write any controversial thing his fans want, and while yes people should experiment with there writing, they need to ask themselves that if there writing can do justice to this controversial subject. The reason there controversial subject is because of how much weight is into them and most people really don't want to talk or write about because of such a heavy topic. I always believed you can write about anything, but you should be careful and see why such heavy topic needs more thought and care to it. This is the whole problem with Jerry writing, he goes into these things like incest or pedophilia, but he never give these topics there writing justice. He tries to make his story dark and mature, but there smut since these subject are handle like jokes and are never subject to cause and effect to his own setting. I could never do a story with these type of topics because they make me uncomfortable to even think about, but I'm not even a fraction of a good writer to give these type of stories justice. In his story, he tried to make dash sympathetic to an extant, especially that ending, but she's poorly written, somehow gets a adopted child after being caught to do it to another, again these is what I'm talking about him not having cause of effect. Many of his sex scenes are just so specific that it's scary and doesn't serve any purpose but to describe sex. So have a super detail sex with a CHILD is not helping at all, this makes your reader feel you put to much into something you could have imply like better writer do. I can believe he's not a pedo really, but making that chapter solely for a sex scene of child, will make your reader imply dude. The nail in the coffin, is that japan, the people Jerry accused of being a pedo, has made stories that delve into these topic with much more thought, self awareness, and care then Jerry could ever do. These stories do still have that uncomfortable factor since these are still heavy subject, but at least you could tell that they did there best in the writing, and it shows.
