Forgive my ignorance but if Trump wins then is there a way for him to solve the drug cartel problem in Mexico? Everyone talks about the wall and deportation which I agree but I truly believe if there was a way for him to solve the cartel problem it could potentially make a lot of people (legal and illegal) want to move back to Mexico.

  1. Militarize the border.
  2. Make a deal with Mexico's government to let him drone strike cartel targets.
  3. Take out enough resources that the cartel power shrinks, without US personnel getting involved on the ground.

I'd say he could cripple, if not eliminate, the cartels by the end of his term. It should be straightforward, however it would require a lot of political capital both here (military on the border) and with Mexico.

Boomers were brain poisoned by leaded gas. No bonita, senor.
We should hate the boomer for pulling the ladder after cashing out. Total Boomer Death.
Idk about that but I’m just mad I wasn’t born slightly earlier so I could have played Quake online when it was the new hotness and only turbonerds had access to it
I had access to Sonic Adventure and Lego Star Wars. Playing online on kilobaud dialup sounds horrendous.

The biggest whitepill about fraud is that Shapiro, Whitmer, and Newsom are not making political moves like its a done deal.
I am also pessimistic sometimes, but this is very true. If it was hopeless the propaganda would be unnecessary.
I also don’t subscribe to the theory that Biden was set up to lose the debate, simply because the Democratic Party was very openly running around with its head cut off. If there was always a plan why be so obviously panicked?

Normies are dumb as rocks, but one thing they understand is fear. I think, just like how Covid made them afraid enough to do anything to stop orange man and return to “normal” the weakness the democratic party displayed is enough to shake enough people either not vote or turn sides. One could hope, anyhow.

The debate was very clearly supposed to go… fine. It not going well was instant crisis mode for the Dems.

This would never happen but if you wanted to fuck with the cartels you would go public and announce all drugs seized at the border will be laced with EA-3167, Bromo-Dragonfly, and MPTP then released into drug supply chains. People might risk getting fentanyl because they have Naloxone, most people ain't gonna risk opening the drug equivalent of the lament configuration.

More realistically you could do shit like threaten to end corn subsidies which cause big problems for Mexico back in the mid 2000s IIRC.

There were factions ready to pounce immediately. It was a set up. But more of "a test" because minority factions were making noise and the goal was for Joe to show it was good enough. I dont think he was "supposed" to fail, but they did at that time to make sure they could account for him failing.

If Kamala wins that debate may prove to be the winning play to the Democratic strategy.

And that's exactly the point I'm trying to make.
Reality beat out constitutional morality though. Society DOES decide moral outrage and by defending Texas v. Johnson, it's put Pro-America people back 50 years because we have to tolerate the destruction of the US flag with passive ambivalence while Muslims and Antifa and Fags get to act like their flags are sacred. It's a bad ruling back then.

He really doesn't as long as he can win enough state primaries because with Biden gone there's none of the old guard left to be put forward. Obama has no protege of his own to put forward (Michele will not run either) and the same is true for Clinton on top of her being far too old. Biden was the last of them and everyone else was driven off to make way for Hillary's anointment, only for that to flop horribly. Bernie may try to run again, but he'll be 86 in 2028. Kamala will be done if she loses this year.
2028 hopefuls: Shapiro, Whitmer, Newsom, AOC.
Its too early to be talking about 2028 when the election this year hasn't happened yet. And we still have the 2026 midterms after that.

You may be asking: Does this belong in a US Politics thread?

Nothing to see here ….just big pharma imposing law by lobbying politicians to inject kids with poisons….not unlike the food industry and the continuation of the toxic pesticide glyphosate (banned in many countries in Europe and throughout the world).

The pharmaceutical industry is far and away the biggest spenders when it comes to lobbying politicians at the local, state, and national levels.

There are currently 1,834 registered lobbyists working for the pharmaceutical and health industry, meaning it has more than three lobbyists for each member of Congress.

I think this absolutely belongs in this thread, considering RFK Jr. literally running his Presidential campaign on health, vaccines, and Big Pharma.

Personally, while I have developed a whole new level of skepticism about vaccines since covid, autism is generally a thing that is being diagnosed more frequently because our "knowledge" of it has grown over the years.

Autism is a relatively "new" medical term, especially when talking about the spectrum, so it's being diagnosed and spotted more frequently now. That makes me not want to jump on the "vaccines cause autism!" bandwagon. I'd like to see more data on this (but, we probably won't).

The only "connection" I see between vaccines and autism is that more vaccines are being developed, and autism is being diagnosed more now that we all know more about it. I haven't seen any data to convince me that one is the cause of the other.

Slight PL but does anyone else ever feel just fucking pissed that this globohomo shit has basically prevented us from living the lives our boomer parents enjoyed? I get that it's a very millennial retarded thing to blame the boomer gen but sometimes it makes me MATI that they got to live some great fucking lives and have cooperated in a rugpull. It could be argued that things were set up for the decline before they were even born and you'd be right, but still, it'd have been nice to live in the era of American comfy instead of constantly bouncing from one politically driven crisis to the next. I feel like the worn aged wojak at the same point my parents were living the golden years of their lives.
Sometimes. And sometimes a lot of times. Yeah.

But hey, maybe shit is going to be better for future generations. :optimistic:

Also, a lot of “autists” are just spoiled or sheltered kids who never had to develop social skills. There’s nothing medically wrong with them and they're greatly harmed by people tolerating their “disability“.

I feel pissed all the time. I get for most old people it’s not their fault, but it truly feels like us in the younger generations are getting fucked over constantly. So many people finished out highschool locked inside their homes, the economy is so horrible that getting our start in this world is damn near impossible, and to top it all off we’ll never see the benefits of all the bullshit we pay into. I don’t mean to sound like a victim, but there seems to be no future for us.

Also single mothers who hate their children and damage their children emotionally.

And massive increase in environmental poisons from birth control, corn syrup, radio waves, addictive video games and television.

And both parents being gone and letting their children be raised by strangers if not a single parent.

Collapse of the multi generational household as the boomers cant be bothered to help take care of grand kids. Too many cruises to go on.

Or the opposite. Absent parents who foist children on grandparents too old to raise them.

Interventionist government that actively blocks traditional parenting methods.

We could go on. Plenty to pin it on. It could even be all of those things combined.
