I believe his participation with the censorship to be voluntary. I still don't see data to suggest a direct connection with vaccinations and autism, though. Unfortunately, I don't think we will ever see that data (so I'm not saying it's wrong to question it). But as it stands now, I personally can't come to the conclusion that the increase of vaccinations is the reason why autism is more common now.

Yeah to be clear I'm not sure about the link to vaccines either. I was more just saying I don't think it's better recognition or awareness and something in the environment (or multiple somethings) is causing the increased rates. In terms of vaccines I think the question should be thoroughly investigated by a third party to figure it out. Why not? At best they find there really is no link and we can move on.
I believe it was Trump that said, during his interview on the All In podcast (has that been linked here? I thought it was great) that faith in the government has plummeted and the best way to inspire trust is with transparency. He was saying that in relation to releasing the JFK files, but anywhere there's distrust the same solution probably applies.
