Has anyone pointed out to these abortion alarmists that the only countries that have actually banned contraception or have forced women to abort their children have been Communist? Nobody cares about reproductive rights, they care about making you panic.
Democrats pissed and moaned about Roe being overturned for literally decades and did fuck all to try and make federal abortion statutes. Instead, they dangled abortion rights over voters in exchange for donations. It wasn't until Dobbs that state legislators actually did something about it.

Another fun fact: if abortion activist lawyers just let Mississippi have its anti-abortion law and didn't stomp their feet all the way to a conservative majority Supreme Court, Roe would still be law. They are the ones who started that fight and then lost.

What a fucking CUNT. What's the point you're trying to make, Joyless? You're not making any point at all, just mocking the poor. Why the fuck does she still have a job?
Her point is that she thinks Trump's economy was terrible and Biden's is great. She seems to have no self awareness of the fact that the pandemic completely slowed Trump's economic progress down. As if no one remembers taxes, gas prices, and groceries bills going down during Trump's administration before China decided to flip the gameboard.

The law in question was "on the menu" for over 50 years, and was considered valid until now.
Was it? I thought "red flag" laws were a newer concept when applied to non-felons who have a history of substance abuse. I don't know a lot about this area of law so please feel free to educate me if you feel like writing it out.

Not to mention that in the Fall and Winter of 2020, we were seeing what MANY called a "v-shaped economic recovery" under Trump.

That terminology died a hard death the second Biden took office.

18 U.S. Code § 922 (which she was charged under) was enacted in June 19, 1968, though the specific sections at issue came to effect (via amendment) on October 22, 1968. That's about 56 years, and it only has just been declared (in some instances) to be unconstitutional.

They’re trying to take away Trump’s no new wars promise by ending the war before elections.
Good! They should actually fucking do it then, I don't care who stops the wars I just want them to end. But of course we know that's not actually what they have in mind. That whole thing was basically just an ebegging stream for more weapons to continue the war.

It just proves that the only thing that matters is power and using it. Being a principle loser just makes you a loser.

Sadly the Republican are never gonna learn that lesson even when its their turn to get a bullet to the back of the head.

The problem is "the system" turns a blind eye to Democrat cheating & general rule/law breaking but if Republicans do it the full force of the system will come down on them. If Trump had won the 2020 election by the same means as Biden do you think he would have gotten away with it? Look how hard they tried to not only prevent him from being inducted as President and remove him as President but also jail him despite winning the 2016 election fair & square. (The Democrats had to cheat and "find" 3 million more votes after the election just so they could say Hillary won the popular vote.)

I feel like everyone is having collective amnesia about the world writ-large prior to COVID; especially Democrats, because they seem to want to run away from all their wildly unpopular COVID policies. I forgive Biden to a point - no one knew what the fuck to do - but that point ends when I have to pay $4 for a soda that cost $1.50 half a decade ago.

There has been some benefit: the US got to see how Russia conducts modern war, and we got to test out a bunch of our hardware without getting our own people killed. The fact that infantry engagements were happening at longer ranges was a factor in switching to the XM7 (although I'm not sold on the new caliber myself).

Not justifying the massive corpse grinder, but it has some strategic silver lining.
