Also, it's hilarious to me that Phil has an encyclopaedic knowledge of this game. He knows every drop rate, the optimal way to buy packs through the website rather than in-game, the loot tiers and events. This is the first time ever since he began his 'career' with videogames in the late 2000s, that Phil knows what he's doing, to an almost-expert degree. He knows the moves of characters he hasn't even unlocked yet, the best way to get gems, the most powerful 'teams'. It's just insane. Someone called him out in his chat and his defence was: "I've played the game for seven years you im-be-cile".

He knows about the lore about music not being in the game, glitches from random events, shit the game I played the most in my life (Halo 3 & the OG MW2) I might know that much about but I also played a fuck ton of it in a short time frame. Definitely did not log into them daily for 6-7 years.

My best friend has played dota casually for over 7 years. He can't tell you what heroes are meta atm and I constantly have to tell him item builds (like getting sange and yasha on bristle for increased movement and healing amp for bloodstone's spell lifesteal). Meanwhile, this fucker who played it casually is spitting insane meta facts out "This card was released for this event and all players hated it" "This event was bugged and everyone got this card from free" "this card is good for beginners but falls off late game".

He's playing and researching this shit nonstop.

Went from I used to play it, to I havent played since getting married, to of course i play, to now Ive played for 7 straight years.
