I think the benefits of adapting to this change outweigh the downsides. Women already have a natural urge to raise children. I think men are perfectly capable of adapting to rationalize the benefits of raising their legacy.

I wouldn't say that's the direct cause of it (I know you said correlation I'm just making a point). I'm with the rat utopia school of thought on this subject, societies with a highly intelligent population generally tend to structure themselves as meritocracies, and a certain lifestyle and standard of living that can only be achieved through working in major metropolitan areas is promoted. A natural conclusion of this would be two income households which require women wasting away most of their fertile years for higher education and careers. It's not that difficult to infer from this that it would lead to an increase in competition which might disincentivize having too many children. Add in the obvious jewish destabilization propaganda and you get to the point where we are with a lot of the people who in the above conditions may still have gotten married and had children (just not that many) simply refusing to participate. Is the propaganda important? Yes. But we can't pretend that without it the natural progression of the system we live in wouldn't be just as grim.
