Speaking of lying, I had a thought while reading this thread. It seems to me that a lot of the problems with women that are spoken of in this thread boil down to one simple, common thing: they live with the belief that they possess some kind of innate, irreducible value.

This is in opposition to reality in which all beings' value is relative to the beholder and dependent on personal traits which vary over time. The woman knows her looks inevitably fade, but does not want to face the reality that this means her value is reduced to most others. Her intelligence and conversational skill are only valued by the people who know and cherish her personally, but she does not want to face that reality and thinks it is universally valued.

In sum, I submit that many women are quite simply delusional. My question is, is this too reductionist?

Women are wired to avoid the filth and brutality of the world and stay in their nests. Their cocoons are mental and emotional, not just physical. Confronting the ugliness of Nature causes them deep distress in a way that it simply does not for men. They are distressed even by their own physical weakness. You can see this in politics today, anywhere where women talk about politics, left or right, and you can see how utterly unaware they are how dependent on men to have their basic material needs met; that is, without male strength, risk-taking, and physicality, there is no energy, no food, no lumber, and no ore. If men disappeared, they would starve and die in the cold and dark. Modern women are not new in this thinking; the ancients observed the same thing.

One of my favorite things to do is point out that women only have the vote because the vast majority of men agreed they should have it. They did not, strictly speaking, "win" the right to vote. Men won the vote from those who didn't want us to have it because we defeated them. The reactions from women as they sputter and gasp and try to find some way to prove they would totally have political power without our say-so are really funny, and expose the depths to which they are deluded about how Nature works.

That's probably a big part of it to be fair, if money is on the line you have no motivation to seriously help solve someone's problems.

Remember reading something from a dude that worked as a therapist for a bit. He said sometimes you do need it and it's good to get an impartial qualified observer to look at your problem and give advice but you got to be careful. If they can't solve your problem in X sessions (IIRC he said something low like 3-5 sessions) then run for the hill, you're being scammed.
