Battletech - Also known as Trannytech

You're way behind, we are mid fedcom civil war in MWO now. It's cool, MWO sucks it's just something I do at times.
MWO is actually in the Jihad Era. Got HAGs, X-Pulse lasers, Mag Shots and AP Gauss. Most of them weapons started appearing when the Blakist went mad.

Also tried out the Assets rules and we are kinda in the middle with the rules, for one thing everything is sitting on this weird thing where everything is sitting on the precipe of "You can hit me all day long and I won't die to 1000 damage" To "Oh a slight breeze *BLEH*" But we agree it makes utilizing Infantry so much better.

Some may call this a crime, I call this the final evolution of the rifleman. Sure it does not have the fancy null signature system or the four gauss rifles. However it does have 4 AC5s and a shit ton of ammo, Yes I could slap a xl engine on it and give it 4 UAC5s since the year is 3035, but I like the jank pirate engine as it is free weight for not much crit space and it gives a bigger speed boost than masc.

An advertisement I noticed in MW5 while during the post-objective pause.

"Favorite beer of tank crews". Hmm, I wonder why...

Definitely.
Much like Irian Technologies, the battle cry of one fellow autist is enough for me to put a new retarded design on the production line. Enjoy! And share it around, for the sake of anonymity I'm not uploading it to any of my usual battletech STL hosting accounts so this one stays here and through back alley trading.

Only criticism I have is I picture the scaling a bit different -- the torso being bigger while the shoulder pods and arms a bit smaller. But other than that, A+. I'll print it tonight. Suggestions for the Kiwi Farms merc unit official name and paint scheme?

Edit: More I look at it the more I like it. The Silhouette is perfect the way it is. Would this be a Lance or a Star (Print 4 or 5)? Have you considered cutting the miniature alongside the torso so you can print it in two pieces and rotate the torso left/right?

Edit: We need a Urban Wolf K2 variant with the missile pods replaced with PPCs, because the Catapult K2 blew my mind when I first saw it in the PC Battletech game. Never considered a Catapult not using missiles as a possibility.

We also need an Urban Wolf L2, with Large Lasers instead of PPC's but with the return of some missiles because the FWL is perpetually broke and can't afford replacement PPC's.

We need an Urban Wolf "New Zealand Bird Farmer" Hero Mech, with one arm carrying a fuckoff huge hatchet and the other an AC10 or AC20, while the shoulder mounts are replaced with SRM pods.

Sorry about that, yeah MWO is jihad by now not fccw. I have to admit I'm a bit salty they just wrapped up an event (well tomorrow) with 4 free paid mech.. I got none. Just don't play a lot.

In better stories real table top, spider s7m is an awesome light vee hunter. Had a battle where we (filthy drac scum) had to push out and reach a dust off. Fighting thru some fedrats, other players put too much BV into mechs, the vees were all lighter, and the spider just flew in and shot kicked and did some LMFAO shuffling moves while being fired at. It took out a large chunk of vees on the path we had. Our basic bitch drac dragons tanked while HQ etc all snuck to the dropship.

Good times.

Would it even have the weight for it, even with Clan Tech? I mean, the UrbanMech is 30 tons, so even with up it to 40 or 45 we're looking at five tons minimum for a hatchet, and another 10 for a Clan LB-10X, plus ammo. for it and the missiles, and hopefully enough armor to not die horribly.

Aren't there low weight melee weapons? Just roll the weapons down, heck, gimmie a meme loadout of the melee weapon + a rack of machine guns in the other arm

I downloaded MWO, after probably like an hour of fiddling I got it working, even. Having fun with it after maybe like 2 hours still, I usually don't like shooter games where you fight other people because I don't have good game sense and I'm not the best at aiming, but this is actually pretty fun. If anyone is still interested, a Kiwi Mech Lance/Comanpy/Whatever on the weekends or whenever might be fun. I don't remember who posted about this idea originally but this is basically a reply to that guy and anyone else interested.

Like 70% of being good at MWO is about positioning, watching the minimap and mechlabbing. What divides the mediocre players and the actually terrible ones are these aspects.

That makes sense, I assume I've probably been getting put in games for low level players due to being new, also only using the free starter mechs so not much to do with mechlab stuff yet. Thanks for the tips, I'll put them to good use and try to get better at those aspects.

Done.
