I agree. Everyone knows it's way harder to fake an interview than an assassination attempt. With Kamala's interview you have cameras way up close so they have to capture everything in a lot of detail. Plus, it's cable news so everything is broadcasted in premium detail that people pay their cable providers for. With the "attempt" everything was on YouTube with it's famous compression. Those popping sounds are probably audio compression artifacts anyway, apparently so bad even Trump could hear them LOL!!!!! Plus there would have to be so many people in on it. You have Kamala (obviously), Walz, the interviewer, the video editor, the anchor, etc etc. With the "assassination attempt" you have, like, Trump and that's it. One person to mastermind it and never tell anyone anything ever. The only director who did self inserts that weren't obnoxious was Hitchcock, and that because Hitchcock knew he wasn't an actor so he just did tiny cameos where he'd be some background character on screen for a few seconds. It became like a game to spot him in his movies. He didn't try to take over whole scenes.
