Ubisoft Sellout - Bankruptcy Speedrun Any% Thread

Several hundred million is my guess. Where that money went I have no clue because it sure doesn't come across at all in the gameplay.
Bro, it ain't cheap paying for:
a) several dozens mediocre programmers that somehow manages to shit out worse code than a dedicated team of 5 from the 90s
b) several more dozens """kahntent""" designers that churn out texture and model slop but also must adhere to current year (((diversity)))
c) the various """diversity""" consultants, sorry I meant (((gameplay designers))) that make sure the protagonist manjaw is front and foremost
d) the combined assorted useless HR hangerons and middle managers whose job is the make the first two category miserable

Fun? What's that? Get out of here, this is a skinner box factory now.

Physics are fucked too. I was watching Synthetic Man's stream last night and if you shoot enemies off speeder bikes they go flying 500 feet into the air like Team Rocket.

Apparently the game is also full of instant fail stealth sections. So not only is it forced Ubisoft one hit kill crouch in bushes stealth you can't even play it like an action game.

Does Assassin's Creed even have a future plot anymore? What's the reason we're going back and forth from different time periods?
They've dialed it back a lot over the years from what I recall. There was a bit of one in the last 3 that tied into the person that we were playing as but I don't know how they've going to go with it after AC: Valhalla. I would think that they will keep the story going with AC: Shadows but Ubisoft could toss it and just go with pure historic. Of course that could give them a chance to make commentary on that game's setup which they'll probably go for now.

XDefiant is the answer to COD and can potentially earn big, big money down the line. Ubisoft planning on which knife it will use to cut open it's golden egg laying goose is anything but surprising, this is the same company that turned Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six into Fortnite and Rayman into a party game.
i was legit enjoying farcry 6 until the fucking trannie appeared. i deleted the game and epic lmao ill never play another game from ubisoft
Isn't this the game where your bullets magically become harmless jellybeans if you use them on the wrong enemy type since it has this awful rock-paper-scissors dynamic?

Outlaws cost 130 dollars and has a total of 1 (one) weapon.

That's it—the shitty Han Solo rip-off garbage pew pew pistol. You can't buy, upgrade, or use anything else, you can pick up guns from dead enemies but need to throw them away after it runs out of ammo.

130 dollars quintuple A gaming experience.

130 dollars, ONE weapon.

I don't necessarily hate that since they're obviously doing the Han Solo rip-off, although having some choice would obviously have been much better. For me personally a much bigger issue is that apparently there are a ton of enforced insta-fail stealth sections. Why the fuck anyone still thinks that's good game design I'll never know.

Ubislop is not just morally and creatively bankrupt but also literally bankrupt after there next three games bomb.

Ubisoft really shows how long a company can exist without making anything quality in over a decade.

What's your favorite 2015+ ubisoft game?
i liked the watch dogs 2, ac origins, i liked the early part of odyssey before things got a little uhhh... ghost recon wildlands, ive heard far cry 5 is good, might torrent it later, and from the very brief moment i played mirage i thought it was alright, but i could only play 2 hours of it during that demo thing

I got the Deluxe edition of The Division 2 for $9 and loved it do much I got the expansion pack on release day.

Played the hell out of it until Massive stopped working on the game.

I dunno if you're aware but they actually started work on it again. Content up until now has been kinda meh seasonal shit, but they are dropping an actual new DLC in a month or so.

I don't see XDefiant lasting long with its hit detection issues and uninspired cosmetics. Gameplay is fine, the game just bores me.

So it looks like Outlaws pulls a TLOU2 in the final act. Despite killing literally thousands of Stormtroopers and gangsters brickface lets the main bad guy go in a cutscene and there is no option to kill him because "revenge and le killing are bad."

Hey Ubisoft, this game takes place in the Star Wars timeline where the Imperial troops are conscripted not clones, those Stormtroopers Kay killed by the thousands presumably had families.
