Dustborn - The Latest and Biggest DEI Flop to Date that No One Asked for!

MGR ages like fine wine.
its a shame he keeps releasing games that are only appreciated later. mgs2 lays out the groundwork for what the internet would become, but raidens kinda femmy and tarded ass and im sure the internet will always be a free and open space so nah ill pass. mgr comes out and its not sneaking so nah.

I th

I think that they may believe that it will eventually catch on? Like some kind of underground scene. They hope they'll be the nirvana. Other than that Im also baffled.
that actually makes a lot of sense. alot of these types actually made good stuff in the 00s and i think its because you still had somewhat of a remnant of a sane society with gay marriage still being illegal for a bit and things like that. so it didnt take much to feel underground while being mainstream in actuality. the left seems obsessed with this idea that theyre underground and edgy and the underdogs and that history will always vindicate them.

I wish we could send more of them over to the middle east to enjoy some cultural enrichment. Education is always best done through experience!
the biggest white pill for me is that even if society and sanity give out completely and the earth becomes fully gay and brown theyll just immediately start beheading faggots and kikes and probably nuke each other or starve or fight it out to the death. in fact it actually kinda makes me want to accelerate it because the idea of a generation or three of smug retards getting women and kids raped with their asinine policies while they get to clout chase until death irritates me.

Just want to place this here, from the most recent bullshit release from the developer.

Title of game is also pretty shitty in a marketing sense. I know it's a small shit bow on top of big pile of shit, but you hear a name like Dustborn and you might think of some desert shooter like Borderlands. You don't think of Corpo DEI terrorist group like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Which is how I forgot the name when E;r was streaming it when he was streaming it.

It's interesting how the devs seem to realize how contradictory and hateful their ideology is but triple down on NO BAD TACTICS ONLY BAD TARGETS. The game itself is like a parody of every leftie stereotype without a shred of self reflection. Like the Harmful Opinions clip where you force a person to think like you and then have him think "there is no woke mind virus". I don't get how those people function, probably if there was no government they would be the first to starve to death.

They had to call it dustborn because they needed something to rhyme with "new porn".

I know one person in my immediate sphere who has vitiligo, and she's a white woman. I have never in my life met a nigger with it, and I run in some pretty multicultural circles in a multicultural location.

Though no one seems to look at the statistics of who it affects because last I checked, it affected Hispanics and Asians the most at nearly a 0.30% prevalence, or something along those lines. Blacks have like a 0.20% prevalence. Whites are less common, somewhere along a 0.15% prevalence.

Overall though, it is fetishism for an "exotic" skin disease that is actually quite terrible to have. The condition itself includes hearing loss, sight loss, hair loss, it can even fuck up the mucous lining of your mouth and nose. Not to mention atrophy of the skin affected by the loss of melanin. It's also a co-morbid disease, so if you have vitiligo, you usually have something else severely wrong with your immune system and it's responses. (Usually a genetic defeat, diabetes, severe anemia, etc.) You can sometimes get it from working around certain chemicals or from having a stressor event, but that's rarer.

It's just a big, bright, glaring red flag for "This person is unhealthy and has multiple diseases." on so many levels. DEI Wokescolds don't care though. It's all about the progressive check marks and uglification of media.
Whats your source for this. i do have vitiligo, so does my brother, and neither of us heard any of this , or been told so by doctors.

The game icon/logo/whatever (bright, people holding weapons, generic looking characters, drones) combined with the generic title intially made me think it was a fortnite clone or smth. It doesn't look very lore/character interaction heavy at all.

Shouldve made it more desaturated/depressing/serious looking to make it obvious its actually a life is strange/telltale clone, instead of disappointing people who thought you could beat the uglies in the bg with your bat.

The key phrase you want to look into would be "Mutational Load".
A doctor probably wouldn't discuss it with you as a patient, partly because it's not something that can really be helped.
People born with unusual traits are that way because of genetic mutations, which can accrete over generations.
Generally speaking, most mutations aren't really useful; the odds of a mutation being beneficial are contextual, but mostly low.
High mutational load is strongly correlated with poor health, but I suppose, high mutational load populations are also those most likely to develop an advantageous adaptation too, but the odds are astronomically unlikely on an individual level, though in a large enough population, exposed to the right amount of selective pressure, I suppose the development of adaptive traits becomes inevitable.

Having vitiligo is advantageous because it helps you camouflage yourself in the woods. Kind of like a baby deer or tapir.

Godless Norwegians say it fine to bully and harass catholic brown latinos during prayer, but dont you dare try to even TALK to a stunning and brave muslim during prayer.

Said latino also apparently does almost everything useful in the team, yet hes the punching bag purely because hes the character the closest to being a normal, hardworking person.

Edit:

Also, spoiler ig but it doesnt matter much: after the ending cutscene you basically just get a few recap and ending segments in COMIC form of events in/after the game, with at the bottom of the screen 'x% of players got this panel'.

Thats most likely what they meant with 'your choices matter', what dumb little ending picture with a bit of text you get like its a dating sim ending, im pretty sure with only 2 'ending' options per character.

Option 1:

Option 2:

The recap of points where choices apparantly mattered in the game itself is also only 2-3 events and all of them are just whether x character(s) chooses to ditch Pax or nah, with the last one being at the literal end of the end and just being 'they go with pax on a boat' or 'they dont do that and just wave goodbye'. Thrilling gameplay, such impactful timelines.

Edit edit: And they do the recaps after each chapter, so they dont even keep it surprising till the end with a bigger recap, and just point out your 1-3 choices almost immediately after you made them.
At least one of them was a recap of a SINGLE choice.

Actual spoiler:
Latino man dies in every gameplay ending i looked at, its probably unavoidable

The actual general ending or anything actually important cant be changed in any way, really.

It's bright and laid out like that because that's what Twitter autists like in fanart of better games and so on. Especially the bright part.

Seriously, once you observe how Tumblr/Twitter fandom spaces work a lot of these design choices start making sense.

Is this just as bad of forced religious representation, as when Neil Druckmann included a holocaust mention and an indestructible menorah (I think) in TLOU2?

To recall my post on Ragnar's writing in Secret World from earlier:

Wait, this is the same Ragnar who wrote The Secret World.

Yeah, you could kind of see the beginnings of wokism slip in with that writing. Basically, the way that game worked was that all myths are true, except that the standard Christian interpretation was always the most wrong in some manner.
It's just an extension/evolution of that.
