First she (or her staff most likely) tweets to complain about the mic situation at the debate - then follows up on the whole Arlington cemetary kerfuffle - checking the replies all the non-bot tweets are pretty negative?

Trump has pivoted from ambivalence to opposition to a pro-abortion Florida ballot initiative, and will be voting to uphold the six-week ban on the state level. (Archive) I think this is a good way to thread the social needle: appeasing the super pro-life/social-conservative crowd without going full retard and advocating for a federal ban that has no support outside of said crowd, while trying to uphold the strictest ban you can get away with on the state level and opposing efforts by the enemy to undo said bans or ram through pro-abortion state constitutional amendments to the best of your ability.

Apparently pro-life types successfully lobbied him to change tack on this issue and even those who expressed disappointment in his moderate stances have affirmed that they're going to back him against Harris, who they (correctly) view as the far greater evil. So it's also a positive sign that not all of these pro-life orgs & activists are braindead 'muh principles' hacks: at least some are pragmatists capable of thinking more than two steps ahead, making the most of their presently-limited hand and going for Ws on a smaller scale rather than insisting on having it all or (vastly more likely, they can grift off of it after all) having nothing.

I'm going to blogpost a bit here, hope you don't mind.

Recently I visited a deep-blue area of a deep-blue state. I expected support for Kamala, because the local residents will vote for a potato with (D) Sharpie'd on it. What threw me is some of the signs showing this. They all say "Harris". Not Harris/Walz, just Harris. Obviously, Harris has just stumbled into the race, with her candidacy being more of a coronation than anything, and Walz was a last-second panicky choice to satisfy that pesky Constitutional law. But few mentioned him at all.

I think it's a funny image that all of these Orange-Man-Bad types rush to Amazon, get a Chinese-produced lawn sign, get it delivered and installed in two hours next to the inevitable "IN THIS HOUSE WE LOVE SCIENCE" banner. Truly glad to not be living in a place where this cult-like behavior is enforced.

I think vets are pretty locked in on Trump good, or trump bad, none of this stuff will really "move the needle" in any real way. I've always been pretty open about being a veteran, and a great deal of my extended family are as well. I have two cousins that are anti trump vets, and nothing will change their minds. The others that are pro trump would never stray.
Personally, unless a video comes out of trump's staff hip checking some bitch into a gravestone, I don't believe it was more than maybe some lady gettign brushed aside. My guess is she was told to not let trump or his staff be there, despite Mike Johnson making clear he would be allowed to be there. I would assume the anti trump folks would believe it happened as sincerely as I believe it didn't.

Chinese overfishing has already began to affect American pacific fisheries like the crab ones outside of Alaska. I will say though china is also the aquaculture capital of the world so it’s not like they aren’t trying to come up with alternatives to fishing so much, they are trying to pioneer tuna ranching now. Yeah, it is normal. Trump's Twitter is pretty active as well for the past 24 hours also. They want to reach as many people as they can who are going to talk to friends and family on their days off at parties and gatherings.

Kamala is coming off extremely bitter in her latest tweets, she's mad that she has to come out of hiding as the Kasich Effect has worn off. She's blatantly lying about Trump's visit to Arlington Cemetery, handling the border, and his abortion position. You also mentioned the microphone issue she's raging about. Kamala wants Trump to talk over her so she can have her "independent black woman who don't need no man" moment; Trump is smart enough to not let her have this.

Trump's Twitter meanwhile has been rather sassy and saucy, doubling down on Kamala's inconsistency, her bad policy support, and mishandling the border. He wants to expose her and is happy to debate her, and even implied Elizabeth Warren (Pocahontas) would make a better president than Kamala ever would.
