That brings up an interesting point...Brianna had to train her voice to be several octaves higher than what it should be, resulting in a bizarre but somewhat passable voice. Unfortunately, with this vocal cord surgery, all that goes out the window, so her new voice will sound even more strange at first.

It's a regular pattern for Wu. She regularly picks something and takes a "controversial" stance on it. Depending on how much blowback she gets about it from her twitter minions, she'll either forget about it soon and never mention it again, or she'll backtrack fast enough to get whiplash.

That's the "Special" thing about Wu. She regularly and intentionally antagonized her own side, just to appear edgy and relevant.

John is a dudebro fedora guy at heart. Look how he boasts about being the best at games like Gears, beating others in multiplayer, shooting Frank in the face, etc...

all of the media (Star Wars, super hero movies, tv shows like game of thrones or Silicon Valley) or video games (fallout, mass effect, etc) are all staples of neckbeards

So when he gives an opinion he's not trying to be edgy and antagonize his own side he's just talking about shit he likes, he gives "controversial" hot takes because he wants to look like a quirky visionary who goes against the grain and when he praises something that's too problematic it's out of ignorance not on purpose

That's not even feminism. Rape as a cheap plot device is just bad writing, like any other cliche. If something that violent happens to a character, it should have some relevance, and too often it is simply a lazy way of saying the character is edgy damaged goods.

Apathy is not supremacist behavior, John. Supremacists generally have some intense, negative feelings about an out group or a reason they feel superior. If you're apathetic then you just don't give a shit one way or the other.
