I really don't think Archie is Barry. Initially I did, but with how Barry has only escalated his shitposting and egging on his opposition, I don't see that as the behavior of someone who's been spammed with 'their' dox. As someone who has worked in IT since the late 2000's, it is funny to see everyone catching on to this.

There used to be honest to God white people answering the phones at Cisco and HP back in the day, and the engineers were fantastic. Then the offshoring began. At first, it only hit the front lines of support and they were generally just a speed bump and pleasant. Upload your logs, escalate, move on. Then they started getting cases escalated to them, as they were now the engineers. Once again, mostly fine, language barrier issues aside.

Things seemed to take a turn for the worse around 2012 when diploma and cert mills became huge in India and cheating was rampant. Engineers became useless, they'd ask you to upload sets of logs completely unrelated to the issues you were having. Dip with 0 communication on sev 1 cases, chase their tails on bullshit you knew was completely wrong.

God help you if you get a woman Indian engineer. They all seem to have this air of completely unwarranted self-importance and arrogance while being completely fucking stupid.

Funnily enough, after enough escalations and pings to the case and account managers, you'll get one of the few white engineers that know anything still left in the industry, and they'll identify a fix or bug for patching in less then a day. It's depressing, because these companies used to have support teams FULL of this knowledge, but they offshored it all away.

Again, CEOs actually think that hiring Indians is a good idea for this because it makes people want to hang up and not call support. I've been suspecting this for the longest time. I had people that i literally couldn't understand when calling up my ISP for this and that before, not only jeets but also what i assume were thais or viets.
