I've never played Deja Vu but I've played Shadowgate, I had the gameboy version. I always loved the music in Shadowgate and the music sounds just as good in Deja Vu. I could never beat it though. Deja vu looks almost more tedious and bullshitty than Shadowgate was. Then again that could just be because it's an avgn video but that fucking inventory screen full of random memos and letters and the excessive amount of open, take, examines needed for what looks like fucking everything in your inventory seems like it would get fucking annoying. I could barely handle Shadowgate's excessively tedious point and click shit, deja vu looks like it's the same shit but like ten times worse.

New episode was really good for modern AVGN standards. The black and white noire scenes were especially really cool. You can tell James put effort into this one. Also a minimum of "LOL POOPY SHIT SHIT' jokes and zero cuck faces. Only thing I didn't like was him unironically using "body shaming" near the end like what the fuck?

No? It's pretty damn common for 44 year old men to be balding. See if James was like 30 with a super fucked up hairline like he has now I could get the jokes but in his mid 40s? It's just a fact of life. "Why doesn't he just shave it?" because you'd chimp out and say that ruined the nerd too.
